Monty is an inventor and aspiring astronaut, but at twelve years old, he hasn’t even left his hometown. This all changes when Monty, his sister Ivory, and their robot sidekick, Echo, stumble upon an abandoned spaceship deep in the woods after school one day… Soon, they find themselves in a countdown to liftoff…and they can’t stop it! On their last trip to space Monty, Ivory, and Echo unexpectedly met missing astronaut Ryker Jackson. After accepting his mission, the crew is tasked with traveling the solar system to gather samples in order to create the super fuel for Jackson's new reactor.

Just as Monty is preparing to spend some time with one of his best friends, an urgent message come in from Ryker Jackson! If they want to help Jackson create his super fuel anytime soon, they'll have to leave for Venus now, which means missing his planned sleepover. A hostile planet, robots going haywire, and The Haze of Venus make this journey on of Monty's and Ivory's most difficult missions yet!
