A seat left vacant because of a fatal exchange between the former security officer and the wildlife of a far planet. As Zade begins living the adrenaline filled life of a space explorer, he has to ask himself some very important questions.

How does he get back to earth? Does he even want to?

this was awesome fun story good charcters next one is the first on my list when next pay check lands hope there os a third book soon

This had a good beginning...

I really like how this book started out. It had a good take on an alien invasion and I thought it would get better. It had some things that to me were a little far fetched, I know it is science fiction and I can look past that. It is just, that, after so many it kinda adds up. I will listen to the next book however because it wasn't so bad that I didn't like the characters even if I had issues with some of it being a bit far fetched.

I wasn't sure about it when I started but by the end I was bummed it was over

good old fashioned sci fi

a little simple at times but that's a good thing. it gets you into the fun and action without thirty hours of background about how the science works, interesting species and fun interactions make it an A+

Excellent story, well worth listening to and immediately brought the next in the series ;
