All I needed to do was stick to my job, keep things professional, and life would be simple. So, why can’t I stay away from him?

I’ve always dreamed of working as a journalist, so when I landed a job as a reporter for Channel One News, I was over the moon with excitement.

It was only when I started to research the local baseball team and saw the star player’s name that I realized things might be a bit more complicated than I had first imagined.

I had to check the name a few times to believe my eyes. Hunter Brown? The Hunter Brown? The boy I knew so long ago?

There’s no denying that we have unfinished business from the past. Most people know Hunter as the star player, but I know him much more intimately than that....

I just hope this doesn’t impact my work. But this time, when our eyes lock once more, I'm not sure I'll be able to resist him.

I wonder how serious he is with his current girlfriend. This could get messy....
