Fated Mates of the Winged Barbarians

I don't believe in love. But then again, up until a week or so ago, I didn't believe in aliens either. And yet here I am having been abducted, stranded on a jungle planet, and now surrounded by a tribe of huge, protective aliens with wings and tails. At least these are the good guys. Their leader, Rynn, is convinced I'm the reason the skin on his chest is lit up like a Christmas tree, particularly the area directly above his heart. But that's just some weird alien biochemical reaction. Just like all supposed 'love', right?

I'm a strong woman. I can cope with leaving my cheating ex behind on earth, and I can cope with doing this alone. What I can't cope with is the seven foot winged warrior-alien who has decided that I'm his. Me and Second Spear Mavyx don't get along. We should stay far away from each other. So why am I asking him to help me out when my hormones have me acting like a cat in heat?

I never imagined that manifesting my dream man into my life would include being abducted, sold at auction, abandoned on an alien planet, and almost getting eaten by jungle monsters—but here we are! When a huge, winged, possessive alien swoops in to save me from the horrors of this planet, I can tell he's just as curious about me as I am about him. And, while Ezryk manages to learn some of my language, the way he looks at me says more than any words in the galaxy possibly could.

So let me get this straight . . . I've been abducted in my sleep, thrown into a stasis pod and now this huge, winged warrior guy is rescuing me and telling me I'm his 'mate' because he saw me in his dreams? Aloryk is everything I've ever wanted in a man—plus a few added extras. He's devoted, a good listener, sculpted like a Greek God, and seems to love all my curves even though he doesn't quite know what to do with them. He says I'm the female he dreams of. But what if that's all it is, just a dumb dream?
