  • 83. 10 Things I Learned in the Hard Seasons
    Jan 7 2026

Welcome to the first episode of a 10-week series on the You Get to Decide podcast.

This season is called 10 Things I Learned in My Hard Seasons, and over the next 10 weeks, I’m sharing 100 lessons pulled directly from the hardest seasons of my life.

    Real lived truth.

In this first episode, I lay the groundwork for the entire series.

I share what I learned after years of anxiety, shame spirals, binge eating, self-sabotage, chronic self-doubt, survival mode, and believing there was something wrong with me.

    What I learned is this:

    You were never broken

    You were never behind

    And you were never alone

Hard seasons don’t mean you’re failing.

They mean something real is being revealed.

In this episode, I walk you through the core truths that changed everything for me, including

    • Why I stayed in hard seasons longer than I needed to

    • How shame and self-judgment prolong suffering

    • Why desire is not a flaw but a guide

    • How compassion moves you forward faster than force

    • Why you never needed fixing, only understanding

    • How returning to yourself is the most linear path there is

This episode is for you if-

You feel like life has been harder than it should be

    You’ve questioned your capability

You’ve wondered if something is wrong with you

You’re exhausted from trying to fix yourself

You know you’re meant for more but don’t know how to get there

    This season is a reminder

Every road leads back to you.

  • 82. Self-Forgiveness: Putting Down the Past and Walking Into the New Year Clean
    Dec 31 2025

This is the final episode of the year, and I’m sharing it from a place of deep gratitude, honesty, and real life.

In this episode, I talk about what it actually looks like to end a year without dragging shame, regret, or old identities into the next one. I share how self-forgiveness has been the fastest path to healing in my own life and why being harder on yourself has never been the thing that creates change.

If you’ve struggled this week with rest, routine, motivation, or the emotional aftermath of the holidays, you’re not alone. I share openly about my own challenges during this in-between time and how I’m learning to meet myself with compassion instead of judgment.

You’ll be guided through a powerful reflection I use in my own life and with my clients

    What worked

    What didn’t work

    What I’ll do differently

Not from shame, but from curiosity, wisdom, and growth.

We’ll also talk about forgiveness in a new way, not as something you force, but as something you give back. Letting go of old beliefs, past choices, and identities that no longer belong to you so you can walk into the new year lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

This episode is an invitation to close the year with grace, put down what no longer serves you, and step forward with intention.

  • 81. Why Rest, Ease, and Slowness Are the Answer (Not Just During the Holidays)
    Dec 24 2025
In this episode, I’m talking about why rest, ease, and slowness aren’t something you earn. They’re the foundation for a sustainable, aligned life. And not just during the holiday season... Letting go of hustle felt irresponsible to me for a long time. Slowing down felt unsafe. But what I’ve learned is that pushing harder isn’t what creates more. Capacity does. This episode is about what changed for me when I stopped forcing, why rest actually creates clarity, creativity, and presence, and how slowing down has made my life and work feel lighter and more sustainable. If you’re tired of rushing, proving, or pushing yourself to the edge, this episode is for you.
