  • If At First You Don’t Succeed (Matt Albritton)
    Aug 4 2025

Have you ever felt like giving up? You start something with great intentions, only to be met with constant roadblocks, opposition, and failure. It can be tempting to quit, but what if your struggle is the very place God plans to show his power? In this message, we take a deep dive into one of the most action-packed stories in the New Testament: the first missionary journey of Paul and Barnabas from Acts 13 & 14. From facing false prophets and rejection to being stoned and left for dead, their mission seemed destined to fail at every turn. Yet, their report back to the church was not one of defeat, but of how God "opened the door of faith." Join us to discover how to persevere when everything goes wrong and learn how to see God's victory in the midst of your trials. This sermon is a powerful reminder that our setbacks don't disqualify us; they are opportunities for God to prove that He is faithful to finish the work He started in us. If you need encouragement to keep going, this message is for you!

  • God of the Unexpected (Matt Albritton)
    Jul 28 2025

What do you do when the situation goes from bad to worse? In Acts 12:1-5, the early church is in a full-blown crisis. Their leader, James, has been executed by King Herod. Now, Peter is in prison, heavily guarded and awaiting the same fate. From every human perspective, the door has been slammed shut and hope is lost. This message, "God of the Unexpected," explores how we can find faith in the face of fear. We learn that every crisis presents us with a choice. As Friedrich Nietzsche wrote, “There will always be rocks in the road ahead of us. They will be stumbling blocks or stepping stones; it all depends on how you use them.” When we face a crisis, we are called to look beyond the immediate obstacle to God’s ultimate fulfillment. This requires us to endure setbacks by trusting His timing and plan. The Christian life is not an escape from hardship. Dietrich Bonhoeffer reminds us, “When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die.” The cross is not an interruption to our journey, but the beginning of it. With this understanding, we can pray with confidence, knowing that even when doors are closed in front of us, the God of the Unexpected is already opening others for us to walk through. Join us to discover how to trust God when all hope seems lost and watch Him turn our greatest trials into our most powerful testimonies.

  • I Have A Dream (Matt Albritton)
    Jul 21 2025

Have you ever been so certain you knew God's will... only for Him to show you something completely unexpected? That's exactly where the Apostle Peter finds himself in Acts 10. In a trance on a rooftop, he has a vision that seems to contradict everything he believes. This sermon, "I Have a Dream," dives into Peter's divine interruption and the revolutionary message God delivered: "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." What barriers in your own life is God calling you to tear down? What "unclean" person or situation is He asking you to embrace? This isn't just Peter's story; it's a powerful call for all of us to see people through God's eyes.
