Weird Little Guys is a weekly show about the worst people you’ve never heard of, taking you beyond the headlines to get to know the race warriors and aspiring terrorists trying to unravel the fabric of our society. Weaving together the origin stories of modern American white supremacist groups and the crimes that land their members in court, independent journalist Molly Conger exposes the monsters for what they really are - some weird guy. Whether they’re conspiring to build bombs or serving swastika shaped cookies at a dinner party, the weird little guys trying to destroy America are a little less scary with their masks off.

Molly doesn't talk at her audience, she takes them on a journey with her & I find her attention to detail admirable. In the best way possible, Molly makes each episode feel like a gossip session or a discussion rather than just any other podcast or lecture. It's like when you're favorite story telling friend sits down & everyone just listens! It's in the tone she sets, the music she uses, the side quests she's willing to take a chance on, the frank commentary, & the amazing tangents that paint a broader picture.

I have two major sticking points that prevent me from carrying on with a podcast: bad narration & arrogant definitive statements. You'll find none of that here. Molly's voice is soothing, it's clear she puts a lot of thought into how she speaks & edits her vocals. What is also clear is that she's willing to reflect on her own biases & provide her audience with only the facts, even if there are juicy tidbits she finds to be of interest.

I've grown quite fond of this podcast & it's incredibly talented host in the last week. I plan to be an avid listener!

Grounded & Delightful!
