  • Spencer Pratt Demands Answers From Gavin Newsom on Pacific Palisades Fire Relief Money
    Aug 12 2025

The Pacific Palisades fires started January 7, 2025 of this year and they were catastrophic. One of the biggest cities in the United States lost homes and entire neighborhoods. Millions of dollars were raised at concerts and charity events for fire victims. According to Spencer Pratt, none of it has reached the people who lost everything. His wife Heidi Montag is also part of the lawsuit, joining other victims in demanding answers.

    WHERE IS THE MONEY?

Spencer Pratt is showing charitable organizations that were founded after the fires or existed before and still received fire money. He is calling out Governor Gavin Newsom and asking why groups that do not seem connected to fire relief are getting millions of dollars while victims get nothing. There are parallels to the Maui fires, where celebrities raised money, but victims still did not receive help.

Investigations into the lack of water to fire hydrants have gone quiet. After Spencer posts about missing reports and unanswered questions, websites and documents disappear. The Pacific Palisades community is left with burned-out homes, broken promises, and no sign of the millions meant to rebuild their lives.

Spencer Pratt is pushing for answers, uncovering details that many would prefer stay hidden, and the victims of the Pacific Palisades fires are still waiting to see the money they were promised.

  • What Are Punitive Damages and How Accident Victims Got Billions
    Aug 5 2025

Why is Suits so popular? Is it the legal strategy, the drama, or just Harvey Specter being a stud? Legal shows aren’t anything like real life, but real legal drama is more compelling than fiction. The Karen Read trial proves that.

We break down real cases with massive verdicts. From the $50 million Starbucks tea burn to the GM gas tank explosion, the Ford Pinto, the drone footage that helped win a $70 million case, and more. We talk about what it takes to prove negligence, how companies try to hide evidence, and why punitive damages exist.

You’ll learn what happens when depositions go off script, when jurors deliver surprising outcomes, and what happens when lawyers end up in the upside-down world. This is what real legal work looks like.

Plus, a quick Karen Read update and one attorney’s unforgettable smart water moment in court.

    We are talking:

    • Starbucks tea burn for $50 million

  • Bryan Kohberger Pleads Guilty But Was It Justice or Strategy (Idaho 4 Trial)
    Jul 29 2025

There’s been a lot happening since our last podcast but the big one is Bryan Kohberger’s guilty plea in the Idaho 4 murders. This is the plea deal heard round the world.

We talk through why some of the families are calling it a betrayal while others see it as closure. What does it really mean to get four consecutive life sentences without parole in a maximum security state prison and is that justice or just legal strategy.

We share thoughts on survivor’s guilt the emotional toll of a trial and what this means for the prosecutors in a smaller community office. We also get into what judges can and can’t do with plea deals and the difference between a good legal outcome and what feels fair to a victim’s family.

The internet is full of wild comments and conspiracy theories and we even talk about whether searching murder online means anything. Did the two other survivor victims have anything to do with the murders?

Plus a quick update on the Karen Read trial and why a former prosecutor is throwing the judge under the bus in interviews

  • Can You Trust Legal Advice on Reddit or Will It Cost You Thousands
    Jul 22 2025

Reddit is full of legal advice. Some of it’s helpful. Some of it’s flat-out wrong. In this episode, I go through real Reddit posts about injury law and insurance claims. If you’ve ever asked Google or Reddit what to do after a crash, this is what you need to know before you follow the advice of random strangers online.

How long until I get an offer on my underinsured motorist claim?
Usually 20 to 30 days after submitting a demand, but that first offer is almost always way too low. Getting an offer and actually settling your case are not the same thing.

Should I ask my lawyer to front MedPay or my Health Insurance?
MedPay or PIP usually gets paid directly to the provider. There’s rarely a reason for a lawyer to front it. But some firms help providers get started faster. Just avoid those loan companies; insane interest rates can kill your settlement.

Will I have to reimburse my health insurance after a settlement?
Yes, but that’s not a bad thing. Health insurance gets your bills paid at discounted rates, and we can negotiate the payback amount so you keep more of your settlement.

Am I liable if my crow army attacks someone?
If you’ve created a situation where your pet crows start attacking people, you could absolutely be on the hook. Duty, breach, damages, it’s tort law 101.

Can I swerve to avoid an accident even if I hit someone else?
If you’re distracted and cause a crash while swerving, you’re liable. If someone else forced you to swerve and vanished, it’s a phantom vehicle case. If you have uninsured motorist coverage, we can still fight for you.

    Stay safe out there.

  • The Truth About Car Crash & Injury Claims (Why Accidents are Getting Worse in Utah)
    Jul 15 2025

Traffic across Utah is worse than ever from St George to Salt Lake and everywhere in between. We're talking freeway crashes, intersection collisions, and rear-end accidents in places like Riverton, Herriman, and the Thanksgiving Point exit. Congestion on I-15 is up, and rural highways are packed with semi trucks and tired drivers.

We share what happens after a crash, why police reports often say no injuries even when people are taken to the hospital, and how fear of ambulance and life flight bills keeps people from getting help. Freeway on-ramps are chaos with cars stacked four wide, and off-ramps are filled with rear-end impacts.

We also talk about the emotional side of injury cases and how anxiety and trauma are just as serious as physical pain. Whether you are in Park City Moab or anywhere else in Utah the roads are changing fast. Consults are always free and we are here to help.

  • How to Sue Your Own Insurance Company and Win (Uninsured & Underinsured Motorist)
    Jul 8 2025

Most people don’t understand what to do when they get hit by a driver with no insurance or not enough coverage. We’re talking about uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. And yes, that includes suing your own insurance company. If you don’t know whether you have uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage, we’re talking to you.

What happens when someone hits you going 60 miles an hour and runs off with no insurance? We talk about how uninsured motorist claims work, how to file underinsured motorist claims when the other driver’s policy isn’t enough, and why your own insurance company might fight you harder than the at-fault driver’s.

How your insurance premiums may or may not be affected, why getting a judgment against someone with no assets doesn’t help you, and what it really looks like when you have to file a lawsuit against your own carrier just to get what they owe you. Even if you’ve been paying them for 20 years, you’re just a claim number.

If you have questions about uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage or want to know what kind of policy you need, send us a message. We’re happy to help.

PLUS a quick Karen Read update, including juror comments, Alan Jackson’s reaction, and the Albert family speaking out after the verdict.

  • Uninsured Motorist Car Accident Settlement. How We Turned A 20K Settlement Into 700K
    Jun 24 2025

We recently settled a car accident case for over $ 700,000 after the insurance company initially offered $ 20,000. The damage to the car didn’t look that bad, but the injuries were real. Our client needed surgery, had major medical bills, and couldn’t work. The driver who hit them had no insurance, so we filed an uninsured motorist claim against our client’s carrier.

Even after years of paying premiums, their own insurance company tried to lowball them. We talk through how we filed suit, walked away from mediation, rejected the low offers, and stayed ready to fight until we got the result they deserved.

We explain how uninsured motorist claims really work, what an eggshell plaintiff means, and why accident photos can hurt a case even when the injuries are serious.

PLUS. We also provide an update on the Baldoni VS Lively case.
