  • Your Identity Comes From God
    Apr 17 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason.

Today we’re in John 5:19, and this episode is all about identity. In a world where so many people are searching for who they are, this message reminds us that your true identity does not come from culture, family labels, past mistakes, or other people’s opinions. Your identity comes from God.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how purpose and identity are deeply connected. You cannot fully know what you are here to do until you know who you are. That is why Jesus said He only did what He saw His Father doing. He lived from a place of identity. He knew who He was, where He came from, and how He was called to respond to life.

This episode is a strong reminder that when you begin to look at Jesus, you begin to see the real you. The Word of God becomes a mirror that shows you who you are in Christ. You are not limited by your past, your upbringing, or the role other people tried to assign to you. You have been grafted into God’s family, and now His nature, His ways, and His truth are what define you.

When you set your mind on the things of God and begin to imitate Christ, your life starts to change. You become more loving, more peaceful, more confident, more disciplined, and more aligned with the purpose God designed for you. The more clearly you see Jesus, the more clearly you understand yourself.

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in Colossians 3:13-15, where the Bible reminds us to bear with one another, forgive one another, and let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. This episode is all about what steals your peace and how forgiveness and love help you get it back.

So many people want peace, but they are holding on to bitterness, anger, frustration, and offense. It is hard for peace to rule your heart when unforgiveness is ruling it instead. This message is a reminder that peace is not just something you hope shows up. Peace has to be protected, and one of the biggest ways to protect it is by choosing forgiveness.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how love binds everything together and how love opens the door for peace to rule. Love is not self-serving, but it does bless your life. Bitterness, hatred, and unforgiveness may feel self-protective, but they do not actually serve you. They steal your joy, wear on your heart, and keep you stuck. Love and forgiveness, on the other hand, bring freedom, healing, and rest.

This episode is also a powerful reminder not to carry offense from one day into the next. Let it go before the sun goes down. Do not bring yesterday’s anger into tomorrow. When you choose to forgive and walk in love, peace becomes the ruler of your heart instead of stress, resentment, or hurt.

  • How to Live a Stress FREE Life
    Apr 15 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in John 14:27, where Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” This episode is all about learning how to live with real peace instead of the temporary peace the world offers.

The world offers a false kind of peace. It tries to cover anxiety, stress, worry, and fear with distractions, addictions, and temporary fixes. But Jesus gives something deeper. He gives a peace that actually heals, restores, and steadies your heart in the middle of real life.

This message reminds us that stress often grows in the world of “what if.” What if this goes wrong? What if I run out? What if they leave? What if I fail? But faith talks differently. Faith says, “God will.” God will provide. God will come through. God will make a way. God will take care of me. When you shift from what if to God will, your heart begins to settle and peace starts to rise.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also talk about how easy it is to lose peace when we chase the wrong things, like approval, money, comparison, perfection, and acceptance from people. But when you rest in what God says about you, that you are loved, chosen, seen, and equipped, those other things begin to lose their grip.

You do not have to let your heart be troubled. You can guard your thoughts, trust God, and live with a peace that the world cannot give and cannot take away.

  • Caution: Little Things, Big Damage
    Apr 14 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in Galatians 5:9, where the Bible says, “A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” This episode is all about how just one small area left unchecked can create a much bigger problem in your life than you realize.

Sometimes it is not the big obvious thing that is holding you back. It is the little thing. A bad attitude. A lack of patience. A sharp tongue. A stubborn mindset. A wrong habit that we excuse, rename, or decide is “just who I am.” But this message reminds us that as believers, we are not called to accept those areas as permanent. We are called to grow.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how easy it is to give unhealthy traits cute names instead of dealing with them. We say things like, “I’m just strong,” when really we may be harsh. Or “I’m just emotional,” when really we need more self-control. The issue is not pretending we are perfect. The issue is refusing to settle for what is not lining up with God’s Word.

This episode is also a reminder to give yourself grace while you grow. You do not have to fix everything at once. But you do have to stay honest, stay teachable, and keep working on the areas that are creating unnecessary struggle in your life. Little by little, with God’s help, those things can change.

Do not accept the little thing that keeps making a big mess. Let God deal with it, grow through it, and move forward stronger.

  • Stop Carrying the Old You
    Apr 13 2026

So many believers get saved, but still carry around the old version of themselves. Old shame. Old habits. Old mindsets. Old ways of thinking. They know Jesus has changed them, but they still feel stuck dragging the past into the present. This message is a reminder that the old man is dead. You are not who you were. In Christ, you are new.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how this transformation is real, but it also takes renewing your mind. Even after salvation, old patterns may try to pop back up. That does not mean God has not changed you. It means you keep growing, keep getting God’s Word in you, and keep letting the Holy Spirit help you live out the new life He has already given you.

As you renew your mind with God’s truth, old bugs start getting fixed. Old thinking starts losing power. You stop accepting things that do not belong in your new identity. You begin to see yourself differently, respond differently, and live differently. That is what happens when the update of God’s Word gets deep into your life.

You are not the old version anymore. You are new in Christ. Walk like it. Think like it. Believe like it.

  • Stop Letting Small Things Limit Your Life
    Apr 10 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason.

Today we’re in Hebrews 5:13-14, and the message is all about growing up spiritually, learning the difference between right and wrong, and refusing to stay stuck in old patterns that keep you from God’s best.

This episode reminds us that maturity matters. It is easy in today’s world for people to blur the lines between good and evil, truth and opinion, and what helps your life versus what limits it. But God’s Word is our anchor. It does not change with culture, emotions, trends, or popular opinion. It gives us the wisdom to know what leads to peace, strength, healthy relationships, and real success.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how many of the struggles people live with are not just random issues. They are often immature patterns, old mindsets, or habits that have never been challenged and overcome. Fear, judgment, selfishness, sexual immorality, intoxication, anger, and compromise all put limits on your life. The enemy wants to blur the lines and make those things seem small, harmless, or normal. But even one lie believed can create a huge mess.

Hebrews says mature believers train themselves to distinguish good from evil. That means spiritual growth is intentional. You get God’s Word in you. You let it correct you. You let it mature you. You do not just ask, “Can I do this?” You ask, “Will this help my life? Will this honor God? Will this lead me toward freedom or put limits on me?”

This episode is a challenge to stop accepting what is holding you back and start growing into the life God has for you. You are not called to stay immature. You are called to mature, discern, and walk in wisdom.

  • Finding Peace in a Stressful World
    Apr 9 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in Isaiah 26:3, where the Bible says, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” This episode is all about what to do with stress and how to keep your peace in the middle of real life problems.

We live in a world full of opportunities to stress out. Job loss, relationship struggles, parenting pressure, financial uncertainty, and everyday demands all try to pull our peace away. But this scripture reminds us that peace is not reserved for people with no problems. Peace belongs to those who keep their minds fixed on God and choose to trust Him.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how fear often grows in the space of “what might happen.” Stress comes when we let worst-case scenarios become bigger than God’s promises. But when you stop, say no to fear, and remind yourself what God says, your heart begins to settle and peace comes back. You do not have to let fear run your thoughts. You can choose to stay steadfast in God’s goodness, God’s promises, and God’s plan for your life.

This episode is a practical reminder that peace is something you keep. You guard it by refusing to let fear lead your mind. Instead of dwelling on what might go wrong, you can stand on the probability of God coming through for you.

  • What to do When You Don't Have Enough
    Apr 8 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in 1 Kings 17:12, where we see the widow with just a little flour, a little oil, and what looked like not enough. But this episode is all about one powerful truth: when you put what you have in God’s hands, He can turn a little into more than enough.

So many people live feeling like they do not have enough. Not enough peace. Not enough love. Not enough patience. Not enough money. Not enough strength. But the question God keeps asking is the same one we see throughout scripture: what do you have? When the widow gave what she had, God multiplied it. When Jesus fed the 5,000, He first asked what was available. God always starts with what is already in your hand.

This episode is a practical encouragement to stop focusing on what you lack and start using what you do have. Maybe all you have today is a little kindness, a little patience, a little peace, or a little energy. Give that. Sow that. Put it in God’s hands. As you use what you have to bless others, encourage others, and serve others, your capacity begins to grow and God fills it again.

The principle is simple but life-changing: when you hold on tightly to your little, it stays little. But when you give it to God and let Him use it, He multiplies it. You really can start with what you have today and watch God make it enough.
