We are on time this week for once. This week we begin our series on the Black Panther Party. Not the one you through for the movie, but the actual Socialist movement. This week, we look at some of the factors that led their leaders to start the movement to protect their people. In the mid 1980's an event occurred that changed over the counter medicine forever: multiple people in the Chicago area died suddenly after taking the pain relief medication Tylenol. What investigators found would shock the world, multiple capsules filled with potassium cyanide. This event would lead to the safety protocols we have all become familiar with when buying medicine in the stores.
