After a full day of work, the crew was called back for an unexpected task. Little did they know, it was a life-saving drill.Watch as they navigate the challenges of rescuing an injured climber from a tree, facing real-world obstacles like deciding between a bucket truck or climbing rescue. The crew worked under pressure to complete a fast and efficient rescue. There were lessons learned—especially around the risks of using a bucket truck for rescue, securing the injured climber, and the importance of having a trained team ready for emergencies.

    We partnered with the local fire department and 911 call center to make the exercise as realistic as possible. This video highlights why it’s crucial for tree crews to be prepared for aerial rescues. When an emergency strikes, minutes can mean the difference between life and death. You’re on your own until help arrives, so your crew needs to be ready to handle the situation.
