Being a Stroke survivor for 6 years now, she took over the walk after the previous organizers moved on. May is Stroke Awareness Month and DeAnn wants to bring awareness to the area.     April thru May 3rd is the 13th Annual "Fight Hunger, Spark Change" for the Northern Illinois Food Bank at Walmart and Sam’s Club. Directors Chris and Katie outline the need in the area for food, the way customers can donate at area Walmart’s and Sam’s Club. In 2025 over $200,000 raised for food supplies and to help neighbors in need. NIFB supplies multiple food pantries and soup kitchens in the Stateline.

    In this segment, Belvidere Mayor Clinton Morris outlines the new jobs and new businesses in Belvidere in the past 3 years. In addition, he is still optimistic that Stellantis will open the Belvidere Assembly plant with two Jeep vehicles by 2027. Housing is up, new businesses like Walmart Distribution Plant and GE are building in the area. Outlines the importance of the Belvidere Park District to attracting residents, too.
