All the same Valentine to some, Valentine’s Day is a special day set aside for the celebration of romantic love in its most basic form. Expectations vary depending on the community in question, how it views courtship in general, and the nature of the relationship between the two people.

Many men would take any measure to produce a male child, including having extramarital affairs, mistresses, and even adopting male children. Some will tell you that it makes no difference if it’s a boy or girl because they only believe that God is the source of all human procreation. Which do you believe?

Depression has no preference for gender; it doesn't care if you're a man or a woman; it can strike at any time. But I'm just curious if women are more adept at managing their depression.

Depression used to be thought of as a disease of old age, but now days even youngsters are complaining of it, maybe as a result of social media. Constant struggle with their self-image that majority of them are depressed and despairing about what they are doing. Some people become depressed as a result of childhood trauma that they are unable to overcome or shrug off.

If you look at some developing nations, men are more likely to be the ones who are employed or, as the phrase goes, the breadwinners. They expect their women to take care of the house, including cooking, so that their husbands would have food when they return from work. They are the ones that go out looking for money while their wives stay at home.

Due to the love some parents have towards their children, they can go extra miles to make sure that they don’t do anything that would stress them out to the point of hiring a maid/servant to take care of everything pertaining to their well-being. Some of their children won't even know where the kitchen is, much less how to cook anything...

There are some men out there who take advantage of their wives' hard work. Just because the lady works so hard to support her husband to make sure that everything is taking care of around their home, they stop helping out. They become lazy to the extent of not looking for money. Some of them stop working altogether. When other men go to work in the morning, they will sleep or play with men like them, while their wives are out there hustling for money to feed them and their kids.

She served us one of the delicious delicacy that I’ve tasted for a long while. After we finished eating she came and as she was cleaning up the table, there was a child crying at the background.  You can see that she was hasting up to attend to the baby. As she was about leaving he asked her to get us some drinks, she went in and came back with the drinks without saying a word. As she was leaving, I said thank you madam and I turn to him and said ''Is that your wife?'' With a smirk on his face he said ''No, that’s our house help. So, where is your wife? She’s in her bedroom.
