(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Chinese Communists detain dozens of leaders of unregistered church The American State Department has condemned the Chinese Communist Party’s recent detention of dozens of Christian leaders of the unregistered house Zion Church in Beijing. The arrests included the prominent Chinese Pastor Mingri “Ezra” Jin. Zion Church includes 10,000 people from at least 40 Chinese cities -- making it one of the largest house churches in China. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is calling on the Communists to “immediately release the detained church leaders and to allow all people of faith, including members of house churches, to engage in religious activities without fear of retribution.” Pastor Jin’s son-in-law, Bill Drexel of the Hudson Institute, called the arrests “the most extensive attack on a Chinese church in four decades.” Trump rolls out additional 100% tariff on Chinese imports Speaking of China, U.S. President Donald Trump has announced an additional 100% tariff on all Chinese imports, above and beyond current rates. It will become effective on November 1st. This would raise tariff rates on Chinese imports to at least 155%. The Trump tariffs have not damaged Chinese exports much so far this year. . . Official numbers released yesterday indicate a 4% increase on total Chinese exports for the year. This occurred despite a 19% drop in US imports from China year-to-date. The U.S. makes up only 14% of Chinese exports. Israeli leader compares Trump to Cyrus the Great Celebrating the end of the recent war in the Middle East, President Donald Trump talked to the Israeli Parliament yesterday, reports the Times of Israel. Listen, TRUMP: “This is not only the end of a war; this is the end of an age of terror and death and the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God. “It's the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region. I believe that so strongly. This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.” This comes as the Israeli-Hamas War ends and the twenty remaining living Israeli hostages were returned to their families. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked President Trump for his support of Israel. NETANYAHU: “The American-Israeli Alliance has never been as strong as it is now. The President has been an outstanding global leader. He's really transforming the world to better all of us. And I can again repeat what I've said time and time again: He's the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House.” And Amir Ohana, the Speaker of the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, also spoke in glowing terms. OHANA: “Mr. President, you stand before the people of Israel not as another American president, but as a giant of Jewish history -- one for whom we must look back two and a half millennia, into the mists of time, to find a parallel: Cyrus the Great. “You, President Donald J. Trump, are a colossus who will be enshrined in the pantheon of history. Thousands of years from now, Mr. President, the Jewish people will remember you.” Keep in mind, Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6-7 says, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end.“ The conservative Global Methodist Church has drawn 6,000 churches The more conservative Global Methodist Church now has 6,000 congregations worldwide, about 80% of which are in the United States. That compares with about 29,000 congregations participating in the more pro-homosexual United Methodist Church. Barna: 20% fewer churchgoers identify as pro-life Christian researcher George Barna revealed devastating news this weekend. The pollster found that the percentage of American churchgoers identified as pro-life has dropped off from 63% to 43% in just the last two years. The largest decline of pro-life commitment occurred among Evangelical churches — an incredible 33% decline! Churchgoers claiming to be pro-abortion increased from 22% to 35% over the same two years. Yet, at the same time, 75% of churchgoers believe that God is the author of life, and 83% say they believe that every human has value and dignity. The report also found that 49% of Gen Z churchgoers are in favor of homosexual faux marriage. Among the nearly nine in 10 Americans who self-identify as Christian, the most common types of Christian church they attend are Catholic at 39%, mainline Protestant at 20%), Evangelical at 18%, independent or non-denominational Christian at 9%, and Pentecostal/charismatic at 4%. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Islamic terrorists in Congo killed 5 gold miners The Islamic Allied Democratic Forces continue to cause death and destruction in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, reports International Christian Concern. Last Tuesday morning, October 7th, they launched the deadly attack on Rizerie village, located in the predominantly Christian Lubero territory in North Kivu Province. The Muslim attackers arrived while people were working in a gold mining site. They killed five civilians who were actively mining gold at the time. A witness said, “The people who were killed were just trying to work so they could earn a living. They woke up early that morning, hoping to provide for their families. Then the rebels came out of nowhere and brutally ended their lives. It was horrifying — gunshots, screaming, and people running in every direction. Those men did not deserve to die like that.” According to Open Doors, Congo is the 35th most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Please pray for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Christ in Congo, Africa. Trump insists on paying soldiers in midst of gov’t shutdown President Donald Trump is implementing a temporary solution to minimize the pain inflicted on American servicemen during the Democrat-induced government shutdown, reports TheBlaze. On Truth Social, the President wrote, "I am using my authority, as Commander-in-Chief, to direct our Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to use all available funds to get our Troops PAID on October 15th. We have identified funds to do this.” Democrats allowed government funding to lapse past the September 30 deadline, refusing to pass the Republican-led continuing resolution. Although spending fights have turned partisan in the past, Republicans simply proposed a clean 90-page Continuing Resolution that kept funding levels at the same rates that Democrats voted for in the past. Their bill had no partisan line items, with the only anomaly being a bipartisan boost in security funding for politicians following Charlie Kirk's assassination. On the other hand, Democrats proposed a $1.5 trillion funding bill that is chock-full of ideological provisions aimed at reversing the legislative accomplishments Republicans secured with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Democrats have also attempted to make the spending fight about re-negotiating Obama-era health care subsidies, although they do not expire until the end of the year. 16 killed in explosion at TN military explosives manufacturer A "devastating" blast at a Tennessee military explosives manufacturing plant at 7:48am on Friday is believed to have killed 16 people, reports ABC News. Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis spoke at a press conference on Saturday. DAVIS: “We have notified all 16 families of those people that we feel were involved in this tragedy.” The explosion occurred at Accurate Energetic Systems in McEwen, located about 50 miles west of Nashville. DAVIS: “This is probably one of the most devastating sites I think I've been on in my career.” Help Voddie Baucham’s widow and 9 children The Christian community continues to mourn the unexpected death on September 25th of Dr. Voddie Baucham, a towering figure in Evangelical circles. Known for his defense of Biblical truth, Baucham, a pastor, author, and theologian, left a legacy of family, faith, and opposing "woke" ideologies in the church. He wrote the book Fault Lines: The Social Justice Movement and Evangelicalism's Looming Catastrophe. Listen to this sermon excerpt about the power of the Gospel. BAUCHAM: “We're justified, and we're adopted into the family of God. And we're sanctified, and as His children, we begin to bear the family resemblance. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Sudanese Muslims threaten to take over Christian school A years-long Islamist attempt to seize a Christian school in Sudan, Africa continued this month even as people displaced by war have taken refuge in the facility, reports Morning Star News. On September 3rd, an Islamic business interest sent three Muslims who forcefully entered the embattled Evangelical School of Sudan, located in the city of Omdurman across the Nile River from Sudan’s capital of Khartoum. They threatened hundreds of mostly Christian people displaced by internal war, telling them to leave the compound. The intruders made their way to the office of the headmaster of the school, which belongs to the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church and broke the office door. Without giving a deadline, the intruders threatened to take the facility by force. Psalm 10:2 says, “In arrogance, the wicked hotly pursue the poor; let them be caught in the schemes that they have devised.” President Trump helped orchestrate Israel-Hamas peace deal At his Cabinet meeting yesterday morning, President Donald Trump discussed the historic peace deal he helped to negotiate between Israel and Hamas, the Palestinian Muslim terrorist group, to end the two-year-long war. TRUMP: “It's really peace in the Middle East.” It was part of his 20-point peace plan to end the conflict. TRUMP: “We ended the war in Gaza, and really, on a much bigger basis, created peace. And I think it's going to be a lasting peace, hopefully an everlasting peace. Peace in the Middle East. We secured the release of all of the remaining hostages. It'll be a day of joy. “I'm going to try and make a trip over. We're going to go to Egypt, where we'll have a signing, an additional signing. We've already had a signing representing me, but we're going to have an official signing. So, it's been really something incredible that nobody thought it was possible to get it done.” On Friday, Israel's government ratified a ceasefire with Hamas, clearing the way to suspend hostilities in Gaza within 24 hours and free Israeli hostages held there within 72 hours after that, reports Reuters. Twenty Israeli hostages are still believed to be alive in Gaza, while 26 are presumed dead, and the fate of two is unknown. Hamas has indicated that recovering the bodies of the dead may take longer than releasing those who are alive. The living Israeli hostages are set to be released on Monday or Tuesday as Israel simultaneously prepares to release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. Many world leaders praised President Trump for his administration’s role in brokering the deal. Celebrations have erupted across Israel and Gaza, as the region welcomes the peace agreement, reports TheEpochTimes.com. TRUMP: “So, I want to express my tremendous gratitude to the leaders of Qatar, Egypt and Turkey, for helping us reach this incredible day and for being there. They were there with us all the way. And of course, as you know, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and so many. I will tell you, [Turkey] President [Recep] Erdogan was personally involved in dealing with Hamas and some of the others. He's been great. They've all been really amazing. Indonesia has been amazing. “The whole world has come together for this. People that didn't get along, people that didn't like each other, neighboring countries, that, frankly, didn't like each other. But now this is a moment in time.” At the cabinet meeting yesterday morning, Trump noted that this was the eighth major world conflict he helped to resolve in the first eight months of his second term. TRUMP: “We settled seven. This is number eight. We settled seven wars, or major conflicts, but wars. The one that I thought would be, maybe the quickest of all, would be Russia- Ukraine. And I think that's going to happen too. In the meantime, they're losing about 7,000 people a week, and that seems pretty bad. They're losing mostly soldiers, young soldiers. They go out to war and they're getting killed.” Pro-Israel activist: President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace prize President Donald Trump is being hailed as a peacemaker worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize after securing phase one of an "historic" Gaza peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, reports FoxNews. In an interview on Fox & Friends with Ainsely Earhart, pro-Israel activist Lizzy Savetsky was ecstatic. SAVETSKY: “I think that the Jewish people across the world have really been holding our breath for the past two years, especially knowing that so many of our brothers are being held in the tunnels of Gaza, being tortured, starved, and knowing that they're finally going to get to come home, knowing that we finally have a chance for real peace that could only be achieved through strength and military pressure on the ...
