CJ is a bowhunter and wildlife biologist who has traveled the world hunting and documenting his hunts for Outdoor Channel’s Bowhunter TV, a television series showcasing the sport of bowhunting through a variety of hunts. He is also an outdoor writer and contributor to Bowhunter Magazine, a well-known magazine in the hunting community. In this episode he talks about his path to bowhunting on TV, becoming a wildlife biologist, ways hunting can benefit communities, and his favorite stories from hunts across the world.

    Today on the Unearthing Project, I sit down with Caden Didier to talk about his senior capstone project, Lids to Benches. Caden is a senior and lifer at Forsyth Country Day School. In this episode, he discusses why he wants to give back to Winston-Salem, the collection of hundreds of pounds of caps and lids, the process of creating the benches, and the future and final home of the project in Winston-Salem parks.

He’s a graduate of Forsyth Country Day and a UNC Chapel Hill alum, but now lives in Nashville, Tennessee! He has 3.6 million followers on Tiktok, almost 700 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, and over a quarter million followers on Instagram. At the time of this recording he is on a country-wide tour called the In Real Life Tour! On this episode, he discuses being an FCDS Fury, growing in popularity on TikTok, and now seeing the physical results of fans attending his shows.
