  • Love, Freedom, and Polyamory Inside a Long-Term Marriage
    Oct 2 2025

Marriage doesn’t always look the way we were told it should. In this episode of The Scarlet Edit, I talk with Mike Messeroff, a personal freedom coach who’s been married for 16 years — and polyamorous with his wife for the last seven.

Mike opens up about what it takes to navigate polyamory inside a marriage, from facing jealousy to setting boundaries to discovering that freedom requires discipline. We talk about how self-awareness, communication, and honesty are the foundation of any relationship — monogamous or not.

We also explore the spiritual side of love: non-attachment, expansion, and choosing your partner every single day. Whether you’re curious about polyamory, questioning traditional marriage, or searching for a more authentic way to love, this conversation will challenge the myths you’ve been told and open the door to new possibilities.

  • Choosing Courage: It’s Not Fearless, It’s Doing It Anyway
    Sep 23 2025

This bonus episode of The Scarlet Edit is all about courage—the kind you don’t recognize while you’re living it, but only when you look back. I dive into what courage has meant in my life: walking away from relationships that no longer served me, traveling solo across the globe, starting this podcast, and bringing taboo conversations into the light.

I talk about how courage isn’t the absence of fear, but the decision to move forward despite it. From divorce to reinvention to the everyday act of choosing yourself, I share how leaning into courage creates space for growth, freedom, and new beginnings.

This episode is for anyone who’s ready to stop waiting, stop hiding, and start betting on themselves.

  • The Truth About Affairs: Sexless Marriages, Emotional Validation, and Modern Love
    Sep 18 2025

This week on The Scarlet Edit, I’m joined by Paul Keable, Chief Strategy Officer of Ashley Madison, the website known worldwide for its tagline: “Life is short. Have an affair.”

We unpack the realities of infidelity and explore why people step outside their marriages. Paul shares insights from over a decade with Ashley Madison, along with research that flips cultural assumptions: women often seek affairs because of sexless marriages, while men more often seek emotional validation.

    We also talk about:

    • The role of communication breakdowns in driving infidelity
    • Why Ashley Madison attracts not just married people, but singles, polyamorous, and open relationships
    • Member stories — from affairs born of loneliness to “compassionate affairs” during caregiving
    • How secrecy, discretion, and unmet needs fuel modern affairs

This episode challenges the stereotypes around cheating and opens up a deeper conversation about intimacy, honesty, and what people really want in their relationships today.

  • Unity, Division, and the America We’ve Become | Remembering 9/11 & Charlie Kirk
    Sep 11 2025

I was 24 years old on 9/11. Like so many Americans, I’ll never forget where I was, what I saw, or how it felt to come together with neighbors and strangers in a moment of shared grief. That unity shaped me — and I’ve carried it with me ever since.

This year, remembrance collided with tragedy as news broke of Charlie Kirk’s murder. I didn’t know him personally, but I followed his work for years, and I broke down in tears at the senselessness of his death.

In this episode, I reflect on both: the unity after 9/11, and the devastating division we face today. I share my heartbreak, my outrage, and my belief that we must return to compassion, conversation, and critical thinking.

Because this isn’t about left vs right. It’s about humanity. It’s about America. And it’s about the future we’re building together.

  • The Friendship Breakup Guide: Letting Go & Moving On
    Sep 8 2025

Friendships evolve, change, and sometimes end — and it can hit harder than we expect. In this bonus episode of The Scarlet Edit, I share my reflections on losing friends, navigating seasonal relationships, and how to honor the value you bring while letting go with grace.

I explore why friendships come and go, the difference between reason, season, and lifetime friends, and what it means to truly understand the ebb and flow of your social connections.

Drawing from my own experiences and insights from friendship expert Danielle Bayard Jackson, I uncover why we often mislabel friendships, how to reframe endings, and why knowing your worth makes letting go easier.

Whether you’ve been ghosted, phased out, or just feel the shift in your circles, this episode helps you navigate the complexity of female friendships without shame or guilt.
