The Retro Wrestling Re-View Continental series continues as Gene Jackson and Robb Helt move deeper into 1985 Continental Championship Wrestling, examining how the promotion was evolving during one of the most competitive eras in wrestling history.

As national expansion was reshaping the industry, Continental worked to establish itself as a serious Southern territory alternative, blending traditional territory storytelling, strong personality driven promos, and a more arena based television presentation style.
