  • Who Are You: Losing and Finding Yourself in Relationships (with others & self)
    Nov 21 2025
“I started to see that so often saying ‘yes’ to others was saying ‘no’ to myself.” I often ask women to tell me who they are without speaking about their jobs or their families. This is an extremely hard question for women to answer. The reason why is because our identities are so wrapped up in who we are for others. Through this focus outward we have lost track of who we truly are. There is a path back to yourself, though. A path where you begin saying ‘yes’ to yourself instead of ‘yes’ to everyone else. It starts by setting down the identities you play for others, stepping away from codependency, and stepping into a balanced state of interdependence. Through this self-love you can begin to welcome your true self back into your heart. • A Whole Woman: Loving and Integrating All Parts of Who You Are
    Nov 18 2025
“What if there was nothing wrong with you? What if there was nothing to fix? What if everything that hurt and felt broken was simply asking for your love and acceptance?” As little girls, the world is constantly telling us who to be. None of those messages encouraged us to be fully who we are. It caused such a fragmentation inside of me, a burying of so many pieces of my true self so that I could show up in the way that society dictated that I should. After five decades of living like this, I felt it begin to fall away on the streets of Paris. I began to say ‘no’ to all that I had held in an attempt to be loved and accepted. I began to welcome back my feminine, heal past wounds, and embrace the discarded parts of my identity. In Paris I became the whole woman I was always meant to be. I want that for you, too. • You Are the Lighthouse: Finding Belonging Through Authenticity
    Nov 14 2025
“If you want to attract an authentic tribe you have to be willing to take the risk of showing up in the truth of who you are.” In my youth, as a new immigrant in New York City, I believed that belonging meant fitting in. I did everything I could to fit into this new and unfamiliar world. In doing so - I erased myself. That was never true belonging. Today I strive for true belonging. True belonging can only begin once you shed your artifice and stand in the truth of who you are. In this space you will become a beacon, and those who are meant for you will easily be able to find their way to your side. Today’s Journal Prompt: How are you standing in your way from showing up as your full authentic self in this world?
