On the way to the tip I saw David "Santa" Thompson checking over his Christmas lights just ahead of his light up for 2024! He's a local legend, a man born to make people smile, an all around top chap. I really hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

Yep, I was up with the lark this morning to chat with Carol Taylor who amongst others is campaigning against the proposed construction of a log cabin holiday park on Farley Lane near to the Matlock Farm Park site. It's beautiful woodland that many people use but should we be benefiting from companies who want to invest in the area, bring trade, money and jobs? You can decide.

I managed to grab an hour with the incredibly busy Michelle Waters of DEFIB4LIFE, suppliers of a huge range of Defibrillators and Bleed Control Kits, items that could Save Someone's Life!
