What happens when you're barely an adult and you're given the keys to the castle? You have everyone eating out of the palm of your hand with every move you make. If you sneeze, the people want to know. Sounds pretty stressful. Now add a daily routine of substances just to feel a semblance of normalcy. That's what today's episode is about, more specifically the artists who left their mark, checked out, and ended up inadvertently joining the group of others like them that happened to make the same choices. We're diving into The 27 Club. Titans of their genres that showed us all that fame and fortune might not be all it's cracked up to be. Live fast, die young, leave a pretty corpse.

Also, if you're having issues with substance abuse or thoughts of ending your own existence. Please reach out to any of the organizations below. It can get better.

This is a good episode, few technical difficulties with the audio, but lots of stuff you probably didn't know. Enjoy! - C.

Here at Cash Exchange we're not superstitious but we are ... a little stitious. Do I think something bad is going to happen because I spilled salt? Probably not, but I still always follow it by tossing a little over my left shoulder. Maybe it's protection from the devil or maybe I want to ward off the real evil, snails.

Today we're talking superstitions and spoiler alert: a surprising amount of origin stories are just normal human behavior that summons evil spirits. We're basically walking Ouija boards.

Edit for you wonderful nerds who read podcast descriptions and those eager to break out the "well actually"- seventeen in roman numerals is XVII. Rearranged it spells VIXI which is bad luck. If you rearrange roman numerals is that dyslexia or discalculia?

Time changes us all. Tastes shift, restlessness sets in, and doing the same thing forever stops working. Some artists evolve smoothly—or at least survive the criticism long enough to settle into a new sound, like Taylor Swift. Others aren’t given that grace. The Zac Brown Band seems to be at that crossroads now. The question is whether they’ll be allowed to grow—or if this marks the end. So sit back, take a look at ZBB’s journey, and give me a chance to remind you why I love them. Enjoy! - C.

Do you have a collection you're proud of? Maybe you have a soft spot for the soulless eyes of a funko pop or feel like you won the lottery when you find a misprinted Taco Bell sauce packet.

Whether you collect casually or you're one step away from your own episode of a TLC show, this one's for you.

Today we delve into the world of collectibles in a (relatively) judgement free zone.

Drop your shortest lived collections in the comments! (I was a Silly Bandz kid)

Growing up, you don't have to worry about paying the bills or what someone has to do for you to have the opportunity to fake an illness so you can get out of going to soccer practice. Then, like a brick wall, you're an adult that has to figure out how to make the money just to survive. We've each had an our fair share of jobs we worked out of complete necessity. Most of them were more cautionary tales than anything else, gave us the motivation to do what needed to be done so we'd never end up back there. Sit back and let us tell you how we got where we are. When we were picking a movie for finishing up our October B-Horror movie review series, we wanted something that was enjoyable to watch and had all the camp/silliness/cheese of the other movies we've watched and we landed on the perfect one. The return of Winnie the Pooh in Blood and Honey 2. This one had a 500% budget increase and it shows. It's also a much more enjoyable experience. Enjoy! - C

We've all had those moments where we wildly overestimate our skills. Maybe you've never done the worm but are absolutely convinced you could earn yourself a Guinness record if you really tried.

Me? I'm fully convinced I could have won an Olympic medal for the gentlemen's duel. Sadly that dream has been unachievable since 1908, but it's not too late for you!

In today's episode, we discuss some of the strangest Olympic sports: past, present, and future (fingers crossed for Hobbyhorsing). Maybe you'll find your own hypothetical medal winning event
