  • The Silent Struggles Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 6
    Apr 17 2026

This week, Micah B, Alex, AP, and Dupree get into a conversation that goes deeper than expected.

We kick things off with a Quickie segment, Queerchella, where the hosts build their own dream queer music festival, choosing headliners and debating who really deserves top billing. What starts as a fun moment quickly turns into a bigger conversation about taste, impact, and who actually moves the culture.

From there, the energy shifts into something heavier, the reality of silent struggles. From burnout and isolation to masking pain, self medicating, and navigating mental health in a world that does not always make space for it, the crew gets real about what it looks like to be okay on the outside but not on the inside.

They unpack the difference between protecting your peace and isolating yourself, the pressure to stay strong for everyone else, and why so many people struggle to ask for help, especially in Black and queer communities.

    The conversation also touches on

    Mental health and masking

    Friendship, family, and safe spaces

The impact of capitalism on emotional well being

    Grief, addiction, and personal healing

Why vulnerability still feels unsafe for so many of us

The hosts also share personal stories they have never fully opened up about, from depression and financial struggles to loss and rebuilding.

This is not just a conversation, it is a reminder you are not the only one going through it.

  • The Situationship Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 5
    Apr 10 2026

This week, it’s Micah B, Alex, and Dupree getting into it.

We kick things off with The Quickie asking a real question… why do people hate the word “situationship” but stay in them anyway? And it quickly turns into a conversation about comfort, convenience, and knowing exactly what something is… but staying anyway.

From there, we get into a conversation straight from the group chat about hookup culture, expectations, and whether things like effort, time, and even money should be considered when it comes to sex and dating. The perspectives? Very different.

Then we get into the main topic: situationships.

    We break down:

    • What actually defines a situationship

    • The difference between dating, exclusivity, and a relationship

    • Why so many people end up in them without realizing it

    • And why people stay… even when they know it’s not going anywhere

The conversation gets real as we talk about long-term situationships, emotional attachment vs. comfort, and the role fear plays in avoiding real commitment.

    We also get into:

    • Long distance relationships and why they often turn into situationships

    • The importance of communication, clarity, and defining what you’re doing

    • And how avoiding hard conversations keeps people stuck

We close with The Agenda Moving Forward, focusing on check-ins, honesty, and being clear about what you want before you waste time in something that was never meant to grow.

  • The Friendship Breakup Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 4
    Mar 27 2026

Season 4 continues and this one gets real.

We start with The Quickie asking what’s being normalized in our community that shouldn’t be… and what people keep defending for no reason.

After a quick check-in, we get into a Letter from the Pushers about dating, exclusivity, and whether you can really be upset when nothing was clearly defined.

We also pull from the Black Gay Agenda card game and talk about beliefs we used to stand on that don’t hit the same anymore.

Then we get into friendship breakups.

    • Do they hurt more than relationships

    • How you know things are shifting

    • Closure vs. just moving on

    • And being honest about when you were the problem

We close with The Agenda Moving Forward and get clear about what we’re no longer accepting in friendships.

  • The Petty Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 3
    Mar 20 2026

The Black Gay Agenda is back and this week, the fellas are cutting straight to it.

Micah B, Alex, AP, and Dupree introduce a brand new segment called The Quickie — a fast, messy, and opinionated rundown of what’s happening in the culture. And baby, they waste no time. The crew gets into the backlash around E.J. Johnson and those comments about dating straight men, the disappointment surrounding Julez Smith showing up to a queer event just to collect a check and give the girls absolutely nothing, and why the internet seems to have so much smoke for Billy Porter, Law Roach, and Teyana Taylor whenever Black queer visibility and Black confidence take up space.

From there, the conversation slides into the After Dark deck of The Black Gay Agenda Card Game, where the guys answer one hard sexual no and get into a real conversation about filming intimacy, consent, and whether people are actually asking permission before they share private content. Because as usual, what starts funny turns into something a little deeper.

Then it’s time for the Letter from the Pushers, and this one is petty in the best way. A listener writes in asking whether it’s wrong to skip a friend’s birthday dinner after that same friend skipped theirs. What follows is a lively debate about friendship, expectations, reciprocity, and whether not showing up is petty… or just paying attention.

The episode keeps the energy going with Petty or Valid, where the hosts sound off on muting exes, loaning money, setting boundaries, and the difference between being petty and protecting your peace. Then Dupree leads the room into a hilarious round of petty confessions before Micah pulls his wildcard and gets into the sudden wave of hate aimed at Teyana Taylor — and why so many people seem committed to humbling confident Black women the moment they start winning out loud.

This episode is messy, sharp, funny, and real — exactly how The Black Gay Agenda likes it.

  • The Sh*t We’ve Outgrown Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 2
    Mar 13 2026

The Black Gay Agenda is giving you a conversation that almost stayed in the vault.

Earlier this year, Micah B and Alex sat down with their new co-hosts AP and Dupree to record a test episode. The goal was simple: build chemistry, get comfortable behind the microphones together, and see how the energy felt before officially launching Season 4.

But once the conversation started flowing, it became clear this wasn’t just a practice run.

In this episode, the guys get into a wide-ranging conversation about growth, identity, and the experiences that shape who we become. They reflect on stepping into new chapters of life, learning to move through the world with more confidence, and the importance of building spaces where Black queer voices can speak freely and honestly.

The conversation also touches on friendship, personal journeys, navigating expectations, and what it means to show up authentically in community with one another.

What started as a simple chemistry test quickly turned into the kind of honest, funny, and thoughtful conversation that defines The Black Gay Agenda.

We originally planned to keep this episode behind the scenes — but the conversation was too good not to share with the Pushers.

Consider this a glimpse into how the new lineup came together.

  • The New Era Agenda | SZN 4 Episode 1
    Mar 6 2026

The Black Gay Agenda is back for Season 4, and this premiere marks the start of a brand new chapter for the show. Micah B and Alex officially welcome AP and Dupree as permanent co-hosts, bringing fresh energy, new perspectives, and a new dynamic to the table.

In this season premiere, the crew introduces new elements for the show including Letters from the Pushers, where listeners can write in with real situations for the hosts to unpack, and the debut of The Black Gay Agenda Card Game, a new segment that brings playful chaos, real talk, and unpredictable conversations to the table.

The conversation kicks off with a listener letter about dating someone who is still close with an ex-fiancé, sparking a lively debate about boundaries, trust, insecurity, and knowing when a relationship situation simply isn’t aligned with what you want. From there, the discussion expands into culture and community — touching on music and pop culture debates, Nicki Minaj discourse, dating standards, struggle love, and the situations Black gay men should stop entertaining altogether.

The episode closes with each host sharing their intentions for Season 4 — from honesty and deeper connection to consistency, growth, and taking The Black Gay Agenda to the next level. With a refreshed lineup and bold new conversations ahead, this premiere sets the tone for a season that promises to be funny, layered, unfiltered, and unapologetically Black and queer.

  • We Need That - We Need That Chaos with Prince Pierre (Episode 6)
    Feb 20 2026

The Black Gay Agenda closes out our fall and winter limited series We Need That with a bold, culturally sharp conversation featuring Pierre “Prince Pierre” Phipps, Emmy Award winner and influential voice in Black queer media.

In this episode, Micah B and Alex sit down with Pierre to unpack Black gay dating culture, social media visibility, masculinity, and the realities of navigating public perception as a Black LGBTQ creator. From authenticity versus performance to desirability politics and online accountability, the conversation explores how digital personas shape real-life relationships and community expectations.

The trio also dives into timely cultural conversations surrounding Nicki Minaj, the complicated legacy and criticism of Tyler Perry, and whether artists like Destin Conrad should feel pressure to serve as role models for the Black gay community. They examine celebrity influence, audience responsibility, and how Black queer culture responds when public figures are praised, questioned, or critiqued.

Pierre speaks candidly about growth, backlash, branding, and evolving publicly while maintaining integrity. This episode moves beyond surface-level hot takes and into deeper reflection on visibility, accountability, and nuance in Black queer spaces.

If you’re searching for conversations about Black gay relationships, LGBTQ podcast discussions, queer celebrity commentary, dating culture, or social media influence, this episode delivers insight, humor, and cultural depth.

This finale is reflective, relevant, and unapologetically real — a powerful close to the We Need That series.

  • The Frolic Agenda (Bonus Episode)
    Feb 2 2026

The Black Gay Agenda is back with another off-season conversation focused on joy, community, and intentional fun.

In The Frolic Agenda, Micah B and Alex sit down with Lamb and Ronnie from Frolic to talk about what Frolic is — and what it isn’t. While often labeled as just a party weekend, Frolic is rooted in belonging, care, and Black queer joy.

Lamb, CEO and co-founder, shares how Frolic was intentionally built to create spaces where people can fully show up as themselves. Ronnie, executive producer of Frolic Weekend, breaks down the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making the weekend feel safe, fun, and truly magical. Together, they discuss community responsibility, why fun doesn’t have to equal chaos, and the importance of protecting Black queer spaces.

The episode also kicks off with a TBGA Twitter Talk, diving into age, reality TV culture, fighting in queer spaces, and the line between entertainment and real-life consequences.

Thoughtful, funny, and grounding, this episode is a reminder that joy can be intentional and community can be protected.
