This week on B&G we had on a group containing some of the most prolific instrumentalist in the state of Virginia. The lineup for Shmazz includes Jamiel Allen(Keys/Vocals), Willis Greenstreet(Guitar/Sax), Stimulator Jones(Bass/Back up Vocals), Chris O'Neal(Drums).

What started as improv jam sessions on a livestream has grown into a few special tracks that aren't the typical sounds you hear from the Appalachian Region. With Jamiel and Willis leading the charge on the writing and compositions they have been "pushing the envelope" on what style of music has been coming from Roanoke, VA. These tracks with hints of Bobby Caldwell and Herbie Hancock being incorporated with ripping guitar and saxophone solos create a wondering coloration of harmonies and style. They mix perfectly with the full and funky basslines by Stimulator and impeccable pocket sitting drums with well articulated drum fills by Chris who doesn't miss a beat. You could say Shmazz is a shmuper group of shminstrumentalist!

This was an incredible season finale for us and we couldn't have been more impressed by the performances and relaxed yet in depth discussions about the development of the group and other topics relating to the culture and current state of the music industry right now. Thank you Shmazz.

This week, the B&G crew headed to one of the East Coast’s premier Muay Thai gyms. We sat down with gym owner and former professional fighter Frankie Vincent, national champions Santino and Sebastian Lupacchino, and rising talent Isaiah Lawson. Each fighter was a part of a trip to Thailand this summer where they each won their professional debut fights. In our conversations, they opened up about their journeys in the sport and shared behind-the-scenes details that most outsiders never get to hear.

Alongside Themis our producer, Maxwell Klimczak, who joined the team in the Spring of 2025 and is coming off of recent wins at a PKB tournament in Charlotte, NC. And also former B&G guest and Klean Studios household name NMB DAN(Dante) has joined as well and is looking to make his debut fight this winter.

There's something wicked lurking on this week's super spooky episode of B&G. For our extra special Halloween Spook-tober Episode two of our newest team members joined us on the other side of the camera to bring some chaos down to Klean Studios.

The IVO Twins have a sound of their own, faced paced, aggressive, intoxicating. It's the perfect soundtrack for this spookiest of seasons. They brought out 5 incredible tracks for us, some unreleased HEAT, but they were even more excited to get on the couch.

The twins, affectionately known around here as Critter and Jay, have been a pleasure to work with and get to know, but it was always the plan to get them on the couch for some good ol fashioned B&G interrogation. They passed with flying colors and even delivered on some of the hot takes they've been promising.
