A crew of 47 aboard an Alaskan fishing boat ominously nicknamed “The Danger Ranger” had been counting on a final run deep into the Bering Sea as a last-ditch effort to save a mediocre fishing season. Before ever arriving, they had to abandon ship in 32-degreewater amidst 20-foot swells and driving snow. Their last hope? So this is a podcast.
The story is great. Interviews telling the story about a ship that sank and the rescue. Forty seven men went in the water twenty two came out. The interviews are believable; they're not goofy dramatic. Okay, maybe once or twice, this gets a pass because it was freezing. And who gets rescued and who meets Davies Jones locker?

I was captivated from the beginning. The audible is based off of a historical event, but the retelling makes you feel like you are listening to an incredible story. Very well done and manageable to finish in five episodes.
