On today’s cast we jump back into the Death Korps of Krieg. We start where we should with the revolution on Kreig, how it started, how Jurten turned the tide to make it a more “even” battle” and how he and his loyalists eventually won out. On today’s cast we jump into the Minotaurs chapter of the Space Marines. Starting with the earliest mentions of any space marines called the Minotaurs in the lore. But then we get into the more firm accounts starting in the 41st millennia. With them being super cool during the Macharian Heresy, Badab Wars, saving the Crimson Fists, and more. We spend a lot of out time talking about how the Minotaurs fight and behave, with an especial focus on what makes them different from other space marine chapters. We also spend a good amount on their super crazy bad ass (but also crazy violent) chapter master Asterion Moloc, and what or who we think he might be.

On today’s cast I tricked Brad into talking about the Lords of Terra by telling him we were going to talk about the Minotaurs. We start with their origins as the magisters temporal, and how that set up some of the “challenges” the imperium would have with them for the next 10,000+ years. Then we move onto the Council of Terra, which also kind of sucked, but was at least functional. Unfortunately we then get to the grand council of reconstruction which was the last time it functioned in a way that benefited the imperium at large, cause that is when the Imperial Senate was created. From there we just dive into the nightmare of bad choices that happened. Until at the end we set up the perceived need by the lords of terra for the Minotaurs.

On today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the 500 worlds campaign book with the conclusion of the events on Novamagnor as well as the events throughout Ultramar. We open with Titus and crew needed to turn their situation around quickly as they are on the verge of losing the planet. While at the same time Ammentar needs to get his Nightbringer shard and will not be denied it. Luckily they both kind of win? After that we jump into the goings on throughout the rest of Ultramar and some of our theories on what is coming next for the lore around the Necrons.

On today’s cast we continue our coverage into the 500 worlds campaign. We open with the retconning of the destroyer curse withing the Necrons. What it is, and how it is evolving in the lore to add a lot of depth to the Necrons. We then talk about Ammentar himself and how he is flipping some of the script on the destroyer curse. After that we jump into the conflict within the Heliodras system. Starting with Titus taking on the hive fleet attacking Idarus. And then following with having to rush to Novamagnor to deal with the explosion of the Necron threat there. With Titus unknowingly seizing a shard of the nightbringer and handing it over to the wrong person in the ad-mech (as usual), and finally with Titus coming face to face with Ammentar himself.

On today’s cast we jump into the 500 worlds campaign. We open with a breakdown of the state of the galaxy in “modern” 40k. From there we jump into the background of the Imperium and the Necrons. We then go over to the set up of Ultramar and how the campaign there is to work, with a focus on Titus and his role in the campaign.
