  • 9: Sabrina Carter-Anderdon - Single But Always Hopeful
    Feb 21 2023

In 2018, Sabrina Carter-Anderdon took a chance and booked a group trip to a far away place….Thailand. After having to salvage that trip, she realized just what’s needed to have a memorable first time experience abroad.

Almost immediately she decided she wanted to use her (then) 14+ years of project management experience and love of travel to fill a gap in the travel industry. Sabrina wanted to create a space where her community could be inspired to pursue their largest travel dreams.

Sabrina wants to empower black men and women to expect luxury and value, and most of all she wants to provide a safe space for them to travel without limitations. The limitations of failed plans. The limitations of canceled trips. And the fear of traveling alone. She created Black and Traveled.

Since its inception, they’ve traveled to 7 countries and there are more bucket list destinations to go!

  • 8: Courtney Wexler - High-Fives and F* Yeahs!
    Feb 7 2023

48-year old Courtney is (still) single and never had that baby she thought she always would. She is also a bad ass yoga teacher, current student of Chinese Medicine working towards a PhD, and all-around quirky goofball. She created a 12-week online yoga course for single, never-married, middle-aged women who never had kids and thought they'd have those things by now because it was the tools of yoga that helped her when she was frustrated, pissed off, and depressed when she turned 45. She wants women like her to feel like they aren't alone and help them step into their power and see their own awesomeness!
