    Join "The Mayor" as he welcomes Mike McFee. Mike is past Chairman of the Greater Beaufort Chamber of Commerce and past President of the Beaufort Realtors Association.

    On the Beaufort government side, Mike was first elected to City Council in 2008 and re-elected in 2012 and 2016. He was Mayor Pro Tem from 2014 to 2020 and won a special election in 2021 to return to City Council and was elected Mayro Pro Tem shortly thereafter, then re-elected to a full term inn November of 2022. He and Billy K have also been great friends for years.

  • Alex Jackson

    Join Billy as he welcomes Alex Jackson. Jackson was disabled as a toddler returning from a visit to his grandparents in Augusta, Ga., to show off his walking abilities. The car his mother drove was struck head-on when another vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic. His mother, a pediatrician at the Medical University, was severely injured but recovered. Jackson suffered a debilitating spinal trauma and lives full time in a wheelchair. He has never walked.

    To say Alex let's nothing stand in his way would be an understatement. Billy was cleary taken by this extraordinary young man, and you will be as well.

    Felix was the Director Of Photography for "Mark - A Call to Action," the documentary about the life and achievements of Dr. Mark Bookman, a fully disabled man from Bryn Mawr, PA who, despite needing 24/7 care, became a globally respected disabilities advocate and scholar residing full time in Tokyo and teaching at the University of Tokyo.

    Though they've not met in person, Billy served as Executive Producer for two documentaries shot by Felix; "Mark - A Call to Action," and "I Danced for the Angel of Death - The Dr. Edith Eva Eger Story" for the Holocaust Education Film Foundation.

He graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry and later studied Jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston. John is a commercial realtor by trade, but among his many achievements, served two terms as Mayor of Charleston, South Carolina. John also details his personal family history with disability, specifically about his brother Michael who was born profoundly deaf, and yet overcame his disability to become a top legal and policy advisor on Capitol Hill.
