  • Sole Sisters - Treadmill Trivia
    Oct 7 2025

Justine, your host, is running for the entire podcast. But this isn't just a simple run—it’s The Trivia Treadmill Torture, a chaotic game designed by one half of the podcast duo who also happen to be trivia hosts at various pubs around town.
The rules are simple: Justine must start running at a 3 mph brisk walk pace. Every trivia question she gets wrong, she must increase her speed. Her only hope for survival is to answer the questions correctly!

Listen as Justine navigates four categories—Marathons, Miscellaneous, Music, and Twilight! Will knowing that a half marathon was once run backwards in under an hour and 40 minutes or correctly identifying a "negative split" save her from a grueling pace? Or will Kylie’s questions about the original enemies of the ancient Greeks, or the unexpected alcoholic fuel of choice for Victorian runners force her to speed up?

Tune in to find out if Justine survives this hilarious, pace-changing chaos, or if the final, random question about the top speed of a spider monkey pushes her past her breaking point right before the cooldown. This is high-stakes trivia where every wrong answer brings you closer to sprinting!

  • Episode 50 Anaconda (1997) featuring Miles Klee
    Sep 21 2025

A couple years ago we released our 50th episode and suggested a requel for Anaconda centred around the story of snake hunter Paul Serone. We even recorded an original trailer and song! While not completely in line with the plot of the new film we felt the snake needed to central in any reboot. Its a good feeling to know the big studio makers felt the same way!

Have a listen and have a laugh!

It's our 50th episode! We celebrate our milestone by returning to the movie that has not only consumed our lives by inspiring this podcast, but also regurgitated our friendship. That's right, we're doing Anaconda (1997) AGAIN. But this time, co-hosts Robert Lendrum and Jamie Roberts have brought along the very funny and intelligent Miles Klee of Rolling Stone magazine as our special guest to deconstruct the madness of Jon Voight's performance as Paul Serone. Plus, we brainstorm what a prequel (or requel) of Anaconda would look like with our own mock trailer. Finally, we create the definitive drinking game bingo card for your next Anaconda viewing party. Find out who wins the Running Scared Award in our favourite horror cult classic.

  • Bonus Episode - Anaconda (1997) Recast
    Sep 21 2025

Oh my god what a coincidence! Who heard our episode? Ha! 4 years ago we suggested a reboot and recast of Anaconda and discussed how Jack Black and Steve Zahn would be perfect fits in a new movie. I guess they took our recommendations. We are so excited for the new Anaconda movie! In light of this we are re releasing this episode and one other (where we found similarities).

    Have fun listening.

    (original show notes)

The episode that was too fun to keep off the feed - the long awaited Anaconda Recast! Co-hosts Jamie and Rob take radically different approaches to recasting the 1997 cult classic with hilarious results. Does Rob know the names of any actors? What's Jamie's problem with Ed Sheeran? Who will they cast as the nefarious Paul Serone? This Bonus ep contains an original song with lyrics written by Rob, original music and performance by Jamie in his garden shed - enjoy "The Serpent Inside"!
