    "Ironically, once the game is about to start up, that's when it stops raining. So Mother Nature was of course on baseball fan side. So this was a one of the best games I ever watched on tv. At first I was, I was a bit worried that the Yankees weren't gonna pull this game out for Jeter cuz they got out to a slow start. And then of course Jeter helps the Yankees tie up the game in the bottom of the first inning."

    "But he's been. He was a loyal player to that franchise for many years and it's great to see players like that get rewarded by making it to the playoffs. This is probably one of the most memorable playoff runs in baseball history. I talked earlier about on the last podcast about the Colorado Rockies when they made their historic run all the way to the World Series. Same thing for the Kansas City Royals. This was actually seven years after the Rockies made their first World Series appearance."

    "One last thing I want to mention. I know over the years, the women's wrestling division has been. It's been loaded when it comes to talented superstars on the roster. And I know in the past there are ones called divas, but I'd say these lays, they can definitely kick some ass, for sure. It's. They're definitely an essential part to the wrestling industry, for sure. And I want to give a special shout out to wow women."

    "That was Michael Strahan's last game, and they themselves also had lofty expectations, as well. As one would expect, this game went all the way down to the wire, and in the end, the Cowboys had a chance to win the game. But there they ended up having a field goal attempt blocked, which resulted in the New York Giants prevailing. See, these games, anytime you put the Cowboys in a primetime game, it's. It always seems to come down to the wire."

    "First, he, he demanded a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers, who granted his request and traded him to the Raiders. And when he got to the Raiders, things were, didn't go smoothly, to say the least. It was one issue after another, whether was him going back and forth with the coach, John Gruden, or him complaining about his helmet, which was the majority part of why he wasn't a showing up for camp or his various legal issues."

    "So I knew it was going to be a tough task for the Lions, but nonetheless, their defense stepped up and the offense did just enough to salvage the win. And the key in this game was the Lions. They weren't reckless with the football. They took care of the ball for the most part, and like I said, their defense stepped up when it mattered most."

Today I'm going to be discussing the New York Liberty winning their first WNBA championship in their franchise history. They did so 10 days ago by defeating the Minnesota Lynx in the best of five series, three games to two. Early on in this series, the Liberty, they gave up home court by losing the opening game of the series in overtime."
