I started my YouTube channel in 2019. And here's the honest to God truth - I fully believed going in that I would be able to monetize and earn some additional income with YouTube in pretty little time. What I could have never imagined, however, is just how MUCH money I would earn from having a YouTube channel. That's because I didn't account for how much I could earn in sponsorships, brand deals, and affiliate marketing BECAUSE of the fact that I have a YouTube channel. The monthly payout from Google Adsense is also pretty great, but it's really about building a presence online and finding other brands to work with. I fell into my first successful side hustle accidentally. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that in a few years, I could scale my reselling side hustle to consistently earn me $25K+ per year. I'll admit; it is hard work, but again, in just under ten hours a week, I am able to earn an additional $25K a year by selling used clothing online. In this podcast episode, I share my experience with reselling used clothing on reselling platforms like Poshmark, eBay, and others, as well as a short tutorial on how to resell. I started my very first side hustle in my very first year of teaching. I started giving private piano and voice lessons. As a new teacher, I was barely making enough to get by on my first year teacher's salary, so the supplemental income I earned from giving piano and voice lessons was life changing. In this video, I share my experiences with giving private lessons, including how I marketed my services (I didn't), my pricing strategy, and what I would do differently if I gave private lessons today. I also share how to apply my experiences and lessens learned into other kinds of tutoring or private lessons.

Lamont Holden of @TheLetterLBeats has had an interesting journey.
