Lamont Holden of @TheLetterLBeats has had an interesting journey. He started in education as a sub and, as he puts it, "crowbar-ed" his way up to becoming a professor at the University of Illinois, thanks to his experiences as a middle school 8th grade teacher, becoming a member of the Grammy Academy, and creating a songwriting camp in Atlanta called the Boom Boom Room.
