Most recent role, Chief Recovery Officer, Mayor’s Office of Recovery Programs, Baltimore City; prior to that she served, as Deputy Director of Performance Management in the Executive Office of the Mayor for Washington, D.C., Shamiah evaluated critical service delivery to District residents and businesses while championing equity in budgeting decisions.

    Her impressive government service includes her role as a senior analyst at the United States Government Accountability Office, where she conducted rigorous program audits and evaluations for Congress on vital federal initiatives spanning housing, disaster assistance, insurance, small business support, and financial systems oversight.

    Beyond her professional accomplishments, Shamiah remains deeply committed to community service, holding leadership positions in multiple organizations.
