The world often shows preference to extroverts because they seem friendly, warm and engaging, but introverts have equally needed and powerful traits that can get overlooked if they don’t have opportunities to show their strengths.

    In today’s episode, Quinn highlights:

    1. The differences between introverts and extroverts
    2. The myth of being shy versus being introverted
    3. The traits that make introverts great leaders

    Mind Renewal Tip:
Introverts often show their best self when they are focused on a task versus connection because the pressure of connecting does not take their energy.

    Scriptural Renewal Tip:
There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. 13 We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. 14 So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts. I Corinthians 12: 12-14

In today’s episode, Quinn addresses the subtle pressure many parents feel to make their children “great” in something be it academics, sports or another extracurricular activity. Because while most parents wouldn’t say anyone is directly telling them to do this, they can admit they feel the outside influence to prepare their child to excel more than generations in the past.

In the episode, Quinn teaches parents how to keep a balanced perspective and also encourages to be mindful of:

    1. Two questions to ask yourself when feeling the pressure that your child needs to be doing big things
    2. Times when you might be taking it too far in the expectations you have of them
    3. A powerful connection time that can refocus your goals in parenting

    Mind Renewal Tip:
If this won’t be relevant to you in ten years, it shouldn’t be something that keeps you up at night.

    Scripture Renewal Tip:
“You don’t get wormy apples off a healthy tree, nor good apples off a diseased tree. The health of the apple tells the health of the tree. You must begin with your own life-giving lives. It’s who you are, not what you say and do, that counts. Your true being brims over into true words and deeds.

Alcohol and drinking can be a controversial topic for Christians. Some believe drinking is a sin and some believe that Jesus is accepting of it because he drank wine himself. But the question remains: “How much alcohol is acceptable (if any) as a Christian seeking to honor God?”

In today’s episode, Quinn discusses this very topic by talking about:

    1. What the surgeon general stated in his January 2025 advisory
    2. What the Bible has to say about drinking and what is recommended as a healthy amount
    3. Questions to ask yourself about your drinking to help you have a clear mind
