  • ReadA Book Podcast- Laura McCluskey The Cursed Road
    Mar 2 2026

I don't think I stopped smiling or giggling this whole conversation; which is ridiculous because this is such a thrilling thriller..George and Richie are back and there is a dead girl on the road..I once again found myself wishing George had packed more warm clothes but that didn't seem to have prevented me from laughing the whole way through this conversation. I just love Laura McCluskey, I couldn't have felt luckier to be able to chat with her again and am already looking forward to the next...

  • ReadA Book Podcast- Fiona Hardy Old Games
    Feb 23 2026

This was such a great chat if I do say so myself! I really loved the opportunity and because we recorded it a little while ago it was brand new to my editing ears this week and my questions didn't seem to grate like they do (honestly it's like listening to your voicemail message...) loved Fiona Hardy and adore Teddy and Alice!

Old Games is out today, so you probably haven't read it yet, but fear not this is a spoiler free conversation ( I think!!)

  • ReadA Book Podcast- Lainie Anderson Murder on North Terrace
    Feb 2 2026

I love a cosy crime, I love historical fiction and I love love love a cosy historical crime involving real life people. I had been hoping to chat with Lainie Anderson since reading The Death of Dora Black and absolutely was over excited when I did get to speak to her in December. I couldn't even try to disguise how over excited I was, I was completely fangirling...

If you haven't read The Petticoat Police Mysteries you are so lucky, there are 2 to dive right into, they feature Australia's first policewoman in the British Empire employed on the same salary and with the same powers of arrest as men Kate Cocks and are so well done! Australian society during WW1 but so much more..

  • ReadA Book Podcast Libby Iriks Home to the Heart Country
    Jan 19 2026

I loved this novel; I love me a romance and I love love love when a romance can give me the feels as well as give me lots to think about... Home to the Heart Country was that for me. I adored my time in these pages

Having the opportunity to chat with Libby Iriks about her journey to publication and the love she has for these characters was just so special. Unfortunately it is a conversation that has been patiently waiting for me to edit and I am sorry for that, but because I had really forgotten lots of it I have a whole new appreciation for it, it was such an interesting one to edit hahaha. Libby shares so much of herself with us in this novel and to find out it took a decade from her head to my hands, I wasn't surprised; it's so special!

Loved this chat I got to have with Aaron Tait, I really can see that this memoir could be described as Eat, Pray Love..but with guns. Its super compulsive, so breathtaking and I did not see that twist...

I just want to also acknowledge it's been a while between episodes; I'm back on track baby!

    Happy New Year!!

    Dec 10 2025

Goodness I could not tear myself away from this chat, poor Jessica had made time in-between editing her next book and I got to interrupt that to talk all this The Farm related (although we were very careful not to talk spoilers) and her work ethic and of course segued into dogs and Christmas movies..
