This week, we sat down with one of the PCA family members, Mimi Schweid. Mimi is an up-and-coming, award-winning writer of short stories. She writes about horror stuff, but also poetry and prose. Mimi is also one of the most voracious readers you will ever meet, and we go into a lot of detail about her love of books, what she's reading now, her comfort reads, and the books she recommends for you to check out and hopefully enjoy.

Mimi's first short story collection is available now, and the follow-up poetry collection is in the process of being edited and such. Hopefully, we will be seeing that book soon, too.

Richard Comely is a longtime comic book creator and artist. In 1975, he was one half of the creative team that brought the character Captain Canuck to the pages of comic books all over Canada. In 2012, Captain Canuck was brought back to life and returned to the pages of comics. Not just dealing with comic-book nemesis, Canuck also tackles real-world issues, including the recent trade wars that broke out in 2025 between the US and Canada.

The Subtle Art of Being a Hammer

As we meet our adventuring Alliance they are entering their great future home in Polis Massa. The mighty Hero's have taken their battle legitimate, in creating the newest and most exciting restaurant, truck stop and secret Rebel Installation. Through ample and in depth story-telling hand waving and masterful montage movie magic, the team finds themselves with a ready made aggressive food truck. Edna engaged with the Polis Massians with the skill of a cat-like Padme showing her political mastery and securing the gang's future Pady's-like establishment. Our troupe of rambunctious rebels continues working out the details in creating the "Art of the Meal", setting up both a Rebel safe-haven and top-of-the-line truck stop for all the interstellar needs of intergalactic space haulers. The Team is getting the itch and finds it difficult to live a stationary life, after a few choice words with their dear friend Pivot, a new Exogorth pokes its head out of the asteroid with opportunity! Bakura! The Team moves forward with a recruiting Mission for the Rebellion. On their way to Manaan, bumping into an Empire patrol, the team attempts to use deft wit, fancy mustaches, and slapstick droids to outthink and steal the trooper officer's secret vital information on shipping logs. SCR-V continues to build his DILF portfolio with yet another corrupted droid. In the most subtle of manners, subterfuge and emotional support grenades, really many explosive devices providing comfort, our masters of heuristic heroism get into a tussle with the local Imperial Faction, leading to a battle with a Sith Inquisitor!!
