  • How grief gave me the courage to quit and choose my most authentic life with Alessio Del Fiacco
    Nov 14 2025

  • How to be the manager of your own life with Rhian Hopkins
    Oct 15 2025

Trigger Warning: mentions of miscarriage, pregnancy loss, cancer, bullying and suicide are all themes in the episode and advise listeners to reflect before listening.

How Rhian's positive outlook and gratitude for the small things got her through her divorce, 6 miscarriages, living in extreme poverty, a late-stage cancer diagnosis, and an autism diagnosis at 50.

Many of us attribute happiness to "that job", "that car", "that house" or "that handbag". Rhian teaches us in this episode that gratitude is the key to beating adversity and appreciating what you do have is the beginning to having a happy life.

Rhian Hopkins's tenacity and ability to look for the good has seen her overcome more than her fair share of life’s challenges—six miscarriages, a late-stage cancer diagnosis, and discovering she is autistic at 50 and still come out as a beaming, bright and beautiful woman. Rhian glistens with a zest for life; talking to her, you wouldn't know she's had it tough.

In this powerful conversation, Rhian shares how she’s transformed adversity into advocacy, creating compassionate spaces for others and learning to live in alignment with her true self. Find out in this episode what it is that has kept her going: finding happiness lives in the everyday moments: waking up, feeding yourself and your family, and finding love, kindness and gratitude.

If you're ready to be happy today, not tomorrow or next year and be given the skills to grow through tough times, give this episode a listen 🎧

  • Being highly skilled but still full of self doubt with Mark Bixter
    Sep 15 2025

This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt like a walking contradiction — confident yet doubtful, creative yet overthinking, fun but financially anxious. You’re not alone.

Our guest is a coach with a wildly diverse portfolio, working with organisations like Frontline, Sanctus, and Spark Inside. From social workers to people in prison, they’ve worked with a range of humans, always leading with empathy, adaptability and curiosity.

We explore how coaching isn’t always about having shared lived experience — but about being present, asking the right questions, and creating space for clients to reflect. Whether you’re a coach, a creative, or just someone figuring it out, this episode reminds us it’s okay to be messy, multifaceted, and still be making an impact.

There’s also some honest chat about what makes a good coach. Hint: it’s not fixing people. It’s listening, asking the right questions, and knowing when to shut up.

We have a question for our listeners as a result of this episode: what have learnt about yourself through your coaching? We already know our answer... what's yours?
