In part 2 of our PhD Journey series, Carolin and Nicol continue their conversation with fellow PhD students Laura and Svenja, talking about the first few weeks and months of a PhD.

In the third part of our PhD to Industry mini-series, we talk to Rosh Sellahewa -  a senior manager at Deloitte UK who began his PhD journey researching nuclear physics. Rosh chatted about his 'accidental' transition into industry, key skills from his PhD which he believes landed him his industry roles, and his top tips for current students thinking of following in his footsteps.

Chris wanted to do a PhD while keeping his income as clinical trials manager. So he decided to apply for a clinical trials grant and, once successful, added a PhD position on top.  We ask him about the grant application process, finding the right principal investigator for the study, his role as a clinical trials manager and more!
