In this 2-part episode, we talk to Faith, Rebecca, and Laura, researchers at King's College London, about being a woman in academia, experiences of sexism, maternity leave, equal pay, and the skills needed to succeed.

In this first part, Laura and Rebecca talk about their work leading the Women of the Wohl group -  a student and staff network promoting gender equality in STEM, and Faith shares her experience of maternity leave while on a fixed-term contract.
