  • Internet Providers
    Jan 9 2026
We're talking about internet providers in Perrysburg today. If you've recently asked your friends and neighbors, "Who do you use for internet?" or "What else is out there?" this episode is for you. This episode is not sponsored. This episode has 3 parts: Internet providers mentioned by members of the Perrysburg, OH Facebook GroupWhat else is out there, according to my online research. What to consider when comparing and choosing an internet provider in Perrysburg. Compare providers using a spreadsheet. I like pen/paper. My husband prefers Excel. Make your shopping list before you talk to someone in sales. If you don't know what you need, it's hard for anyone to help you choose. Providers mentioned in this episode include a mix of fiber, cable, wireless, and satellite providers. Availability varies by address. In alphabetical order, they are: Amplex https://amplex.net/ AT&T https://www.att.com/local/internet/ohio/perrysburg Brightspeed https://www.brightspeed.com Buckeye Broadband https://www.buckeyebroadband.com/ CenturyLink https://www.centurylinkquote.com DISH https://dish.com/isg/internet/ Earthlink https://www.earthlink.net/ Frontier https://frontier.com/ HughesNet https://www.hughesnet.com/ Omni Fiber https://www.omnifiber.com/ Spectrum https://www.spectrum.com/internet-service/ohio/perrysburg Starlink https://starlink.com/ T-Mobile 5G Home Internet https://www.t-mobile.com/home-internet/plans Verizon 5G Home Internet https://www.verizonspecials.com/availability/5g/oh/perrysburg Viasat https://www.viasat.com Windstream (Kinetic) https://www.windstream.com XNET WiFi https://xnetwifi.com/ Consider the following when looking for an internet provider: Do you need internet for business or residential use? What will you use it for? Which devices will access the internet, and how many at the same time?Which providers are available where you live? What's your budget for internet? Are there any promotions? Can you bundle services to save money? What internet speed do you need for uploads and downloads? Do you need fiber? What's best for gaming, streaming, remote work, or rural coverage? What equipment (hardware) is provided? (Do you know how to use it?)Are you comfortable with the customer service offered (human-staffed, chat bots, 24/7)?Let me know what I missed - kim@perrysburgpodcast.com, Subject line: Episode 129 Share this episode with your friends and neighbors who need an internet provider. • Ways to Give Back in and Around Perrysburg
    Dec 26 2025
When people talk about giving back, they often use the word volunteering. I used that word in episodes 84 and 88 when I talked about volunteer opportunities in Perrysburg. Not everything that helps our community fits neatly under the "volunteering." Rather than have a third episode with volunteering in the title, I titled this episode, "Ways to Give Back in and Around Perrysburg." People give back in lots of ways here in Perrysburg: by volunteering their time, by donating resources, and by serving in leadership roles. Today, I'll walk through some practical ways to give back in and around Perrysburg, which may help you figure out what might be a good fit for you.
