  • Out Through & In | Part 3 - 18 May 2025 w/ Kent Thompson
    May 21 2025

If you missed Peak Live and want to watch the replay of the live stream, you can watch that here: youtube.com/live/BTK3KZvREMAThis is a 3-part series; check out the earlier two.Part 1 | Part 2Kent shares in Part 3 a powerful message about the journey of faith—going out, through, and in—and what it really means to live in the freedom God has for us. He opens up about how success can sometimes blur our lines and even justify sin in our minds, reminding us that the real test of character often comes after the breakthrough, not before it.He gets real about his own journey, too. He describes deep personal hurt and how God began to heal that damage over time. Not all at once—some of it was immediate, but a lot of it was through the process. Through tears, worship, prayer, and honest moments with God, Kent says he began to feel that freedom. He talks about how spiritual baggage from past relationships can’t just be talked away—it needs to be broken off in the name of Jesus.Kent’s message is a reminder that we’re not just called to be saved—we’re called to walk in freedom, to take the land God has promised us. Whether it’s in relationships, identity, or purpose, there are areas in our lives that God wants to restore—but we have to partner with Him in it. That freedom is both a gift and a journey. That we’re called not just to survive the wilderness, but to thrive in the promise. And that even in success, the mission remains: know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference.------

  • Strength (A Mother's Calling) - 11 May 2025 w/ Pania Thompson
    May 13 2025

If you missed Peak Live and want to watch the replay of the live stream, you can watch that here: youtube.com/live/CudrVf4G69oPania shares about the real, raw, and beautiful journey of motherhood—both the highs and the hard bits. She starts by honouring all the Mamas, recognising the different roles they play and the deep sacrifices they make—not just in career or lifestyle, but in literally giving their bodies, time, and hearts to raise kids. She reminds us that mums are more than just caregivers—they’re emotional anchors, truth-tellers, and tea-makers, always there in the big and small moments of life. One big thing we learn from Pania is that stepping into motherhood—or anything meaningful, really—rarely comes at the “perfect time.” She encourages us not to wait for the ducks to line up in a row, but to take a step of faith. She reminds young couples not to be afraid to start the journey, because there will never be a perfect house, job, or bank balance.Pania also takes us through the story of Bathsheba to highlight Bathsheba’s strength. Even after pain, betrayal, and loss, she becomes the mother of Solomon—the one chosen by God to build the temple. Pania shows us that even in the messiest situations, God brings strength in purpose, redemption, and honour.------If you have joined us for the first time or you'd like to send our Pastors a message, you can say hi and share with us here: peakvisionchurch.co.nz/welcomeLearn more about Peak Visionpeakvisionchurch.co.nz/explore

  • Out Through & In | Part 2 - 04 May 2025 w/ Kent Thompson
    May 6 2025

If you missed Peak Live and want to watch the replay of the live stream, you can watch that here: youtube.com/live/qcvmZZXDBWkKent shares part 2 of Out, Through and In. If you missed part 1, watch that here: open.spotify.com/episode/2nh3R9Qu6sv7QVlJ5gsPMK “The Way Through”—the often painful but necessary part of the journey between being set free (the way out) and entering into God’s promises (the way in). Kent reminds us that while the world encourages us to numb pain or escape struggle, God leads us through it, not around it. Just like the Israelites had to go through the desert after escaping Egypt, we too must go through seasons of refining, trusting, and character-building. Using the temptation of Jesus and the story of 80 year old Caleb, Kent emphasises that even when God calls us to something, for example, be it starting a business, moving countries, or raising a family, we often look for a way out when it gets hard. But God's method is always through—because that’s where growth, dependence, and sanctification happen. The call is clear: Don’t return to what’s familiar just because it’s easier. Don’t trade your promise for comfort. Trust God to take you through—because Jesus is the way out, the way through, and the way in.------
