  • Time Blindness - ADHD or Just Lazy? | Off My Meds
    May 27 2025

    It's another "Off My Meds May" episode, and we're diving headfirst into time blindness—that uniquely frustrating ADHD struggle where five minutes feels like five hours… or five seconds. If you've ever missed a deadline, been late to an important event, spaced on a meeting, or wondered where your entire afternoon went, you're not alone.

    I’m testing out new time management tools (spoiler: some are actually working??), talking through how ADHD warps our sense of time, and even asking ChatGPT for strategies and resources I can realistically stick to. No boring advice—just real tools for real ADHD brains.

    If you relate, SUBSCRIBE, SHARE, and COMMENT below with your favorite ADHD-friendly time hacks. Let's crowdsource this thing.

  • Eric "El Rabbi" Hirschhorn (Rebelution) | Off My Meds Pod | Ep. 304
    Apr 9 2025

    🎙️ We're really getting into the tea today, literally.....

    In this captivating episode, I sit down with the insanely talented Eric Hirschhorn, saxophonist and keyboardist for the iconic reggae band Rebelution and Japanese Lunchtime Rush. We drank some different kinds of tea, and dove into everything from ADHD and jazz to anime and tea—yes, so much tea! Eric is a true multi-hyphenate, and this convo is full of inspiration, laughs, and unexpected gems.

    Notably, Eric is also a member of Japanese Lunchtime Rush, a collective of Southern California musicians who artfully blend their favorite anime and video game songs with influences from Neo-soul, Funk, J-Rock, R&B, and Fusion genres. This group is celebrated for their unique fusion of styles, bringing a fresh and eclectic sound to the music scene. They've released several projects, including the "Kurisumasu EP" and "Live House Sessions," showcasing their versatility and innovative approach to music.

    We talk about:
    * Living with ADHD as a touring musician
    * Playing jazz and mentoring the next generation
    * What it’s really like on the road with Rebelution
    * That one time he played for John Mayer at 15
    * His love for anime
    * And a mini tea masterclass 🫖
    Get ready for a beautifully chaotic deep-dive into the mind of one of reggae’s most brilliant musicians.
