John The Blind is the artist project of esteemed Grammy-winning songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist John Ryan. Known for shaping globally influential records for artists including Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Dean, One Direction, Teddy Swims, Delta Goodrem, Pitbull, Niall Horan, Katseye, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Maroon 5, he has recently released his own EP, Indicator. The six-track project is written, produced, performed, and mixed entirely by John, blending country-tinged pop with intimate songwriting, eclectic production, and rich instrumentation. An Odyssey Sound Session with Sports.

Oklahoma-based dream-pop duo Sports have recently released their long-awaited self-titled album, Sports. Along with the release comes the announcement of Australian tour dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane this July, as part of the band's global tour. Marking a major milestone in the duo’s career, Sports is the first project entirely self-produced by the band. We spoke to the band about their core influences.
