  • Dipping for Dave: Raising Awareness of Neuroendocrine Cancer
    Sep 30 2025

In this episode of the Not Just NE Cancer podcast, Cathy speaks to Ruth, the incredible fundraiser and founder behind 'Daily Dip 4 Dave'.

Since October 2023, Ruth has taken a cold-water dip every single day, inspired by her husband, Dave, who is living with neuroendocrine cancer.

Through stormy weather, freezing temperatures and exhaustion, she’s stayed committed, raising awareness and vital funds for Neuroendocrine Cancer UK, one freezing plunge at a time.

This October marks 2 years and to celebrate, we’re making a splash.

Join us on Saturday 11th October 2025 for the National Daily Dip 4 Dave Day.
One day. Hundreds of dips. Wherever you are, however you do it, just dip!

For Ruth. For Dave. For everyone affected by neuroendocrine cancer.

If you haven't already heard of Ruth and Dave's story, this episode shines a light on why 'Daily Dip 4 Dave' started, including Ruth's most memorable dips!
