    PART 2

In this second episode, Nightshift's Andrea Up Late and Brian Sanders get into the details. We walk you through the scene of the crime, autopsy reports, and Jeff Pelley's narrow timeline, to include any and all alibis and witness statements

They originally thought the victims' skin was littered with lacerations. Soon, however, they realized it was the collateral damage from all of the fragmented pieces of bone that had flown through the air.

Bob Pelley secured a lucrative job overseeing the computer processor hub for a well known financial institution and living in Cape Coral, Florida.

His children, a boy and a girl, were young. The oldest was only 13 when his mother passed after a rather quick illness. Bob stayed on with the bank for a while longer, and in the meantime, found a lady who had also experienced recently losing a spouse. They hit it off and wed months later. But palm trees and pool life were not long for their world.

In what some have called a very abrupt move, Bob took a deep pay cut to follow his heart as a preacher - all the way up in Indiana in a town with under 700 people.

The families merged, and everyone had adjusting to do. But as Bob's oldest son, Jeff, sat back and waited for graduation, things at the Pelley home took a turn.

Was an argument over prom enough to cause a teenage boy to snap and leave the house in a coat of blood?

OR were the witness statements that were not admissible to court, what the murders actually hinged on? Did Bob in fact leave some secrets behind in Florida?

Words Julie Moseley's mother regretted for 43 years until her death in 2017.

It was Christmas time in Ft. Worth, Texas and it was 1974. Bell bottoms, promise rings, and the hopes of Santa's favor was in the air.

The girls had specific times to arrive home, so when those times came and went, their families became increasingly concerned.

But they didn't show. The next day a bizarre letter arrives to one of their homes. Witnesses began coming forward with horrific accounts of vans, trucks, strange men, and demands. But what is the true story?

Rachel Trlica, Renee Wilson, and Julie Moseley were last seen at the Seminary South shopping center on December 23, 1974 - and not a trace of them has been seen since.

  • "Ma'am, We've Got a S**cide" - The Mysterious Death of Christian Andreacchio
    Jan 7 2026

Have you ever seen a bullet travel backward?

Christian Andreacchio was an energetic, ambitious 21 year old in 2014. Poised to be the youngest tugboat captain in the history of Magnolia Marine, he spent nearly as much time on the water as he did on land.

After his girlfriend, Whitley, was forced to move from his family home for an egregious act, Christian followed suit and they, together, moved into his brother's apartment.

But during Christian's time away, Whitley Goodman lived quite a life for a 17 year old girl. After all, she had free room and board, and, most recently - a gifted BMW from Christian.

A fake pregnancy, life insurance questions, and a night spent with another man, eventually toppled this house of cards.

    Unfortunately, Christian fell first.

What does a fast food receipt and a bank visit have to do with all of this?

Join Andrea Up Late and Brian Sanders as they discuss this criminal conundrum.

  • Death in St. Augustine: Michelle O'Connell
    Dec 4 2025

It was September 2, 2010, and Michelle O'Connell was excited for the Paramore concert that night at the St. Augustine Amphitheater in Florida. Her sister was babysitting Michelle's daughter, four year old Alexis. But Michelle knew she had even bigger plans that evening.

Michelle and Alexis had lived with Deputy Jeremy Banks for the past year. What started as a hopeful romance, turned into quite the opposite. Amidst complaints of violence to her family and friends, Jennifer was making plans to leave. And she planned to do that just after the concert that night.

However within just an hour of their travels back to the residence, Michelle would be dead.

A 911 call placed by Jeremy is a great study in emotion and voice detection.

He states that Michelle ended her own life, while he waited in his garage for her to pack her things. In fact, he states she did so with his own duty pistol. Yes, the pistol on his belt, in a retention holster, that he used for work. Coworkers of Jeremy's arrived to assess the situation.

Evidence was collected, minimally. Interviews were conducted, light heartedly. The sheriff was offended - greatly.

This case required special prosecution appointments, governor involvement, and administrative leave. But not where you may expect it. Then after the family fought for YEARS, Michelle's body was exhumed. What was found that had never been reported?? The figurative nail in the coffin. But why hasn't her manner of death ever been changed?

Oh, let's not forget the next civilian to investigate Michelle's death....as he got closer, the man was made to stop in his tracks. By being murdered. Another murder yet unsolved.

Join Andrea Up Late and retired homicide Lieutenant, Brian Sanders, as they untangle this web of medical examiners, botched statements, and a belligerent sheriff.

  • Jennifer & Adrianna Wix: From the Start to the LATEST
    Nov 5 2025

Just north of Nashville, in the small town of Cross Plains, Tennessee, Jennifer Wix was becoming a wonderful mother. It was 2004 and her beautiful daughter, Adrianna, had just turned two years old. While Jennifer had previous plans to obtain work in either equine therapy or as a park ranger, sadly she was now making plans to escape an unsafe home.

Jennifer was living at the time with her boyfriend, Joey Benton, and his parents. Parties got wilder, Joey's temper got shorter, and his parents had increasing animosity toward Jennifer and her daughter. During one of her last interactions with Joey's mother, Jennifer and Adrianna's food was thrown on the ground outside and she was instructed to go "eat like the dogs do."

The only thing we know with certainty in the moments leading up to the disappearance of the two girls, is that Adrianna had a new and concerning diagnosis, and Jennifer had decided fully that she would not be spending another night under that roof. But did she ever get the chance to escape?

Neither she nor Adrianna have ever been seen again.

    BUT:

In over two decades, Joey hasn't spoken. He maintained from the start that he dropped them both off at a gas station, with an unknown person. But his information was contradictory at best, and simply untrue. And then just last year, after his father went to jail on unrelated charges, Joes decided it was time.

    He. Spoke.

    And you won't believe it.

Weapons charges, alibis that don't align, domestic violence, and the retrieval of a decomposing human leg....

How is this story going to end?

Join Andrea Up Late as she and Brian Sanders walk you through the events that led to the monumental updates that just happened last month.
