  • 1 Corinthians 3:1-9 | Victorious in Motherhood | Amy Conrod
    May 12 2025

“It’s not about taking sides. It’s about walking with people. It’s about following Christ above all things. And then being united in Him.” Today our Georgia State Coordinator, Amy Conrod, talks about the importance of being united in Christ. As we walk in unity together, we are a beautiful witness to the world! We also have the amazing gift of prayer where we can link arms and go to battle together, knowing we are praying to the Victorious One!

    ABOUT OUR GUEST

Amy and her husband live in Georgia. She heard about Moms in Prayer on the radio when her two sons were beginning elementary school and felt God's call to pray for them. As a former first grade teacher, she also knew how vital prayers are for our schools. She continues to pray in a group for her two sons (now young adults) and daughter-in-law. She also has the joy of serving as the Georgia State Coordinator.

She will forever be grateful for this prayer ministry that has been a lifeline in every season. Learning how to battle against worry through praise and scripture-filled prayer with others has been one of God's greatest gifts. She wishes every Christian woman could experience the peace, hope, and encouragement that happens in a Moms in Prayer group.

    SCRIPTURES

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. John 17:20-21 NIV

For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. Ephesians 2:10 AMP

For we are God’s fellow workers [His servants working together]; you are God’s cultivated field [His garden, His vineyard], God’s building. 1 Corinthians 3:9 AMP

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:4-5 NASB1995

  • 1 Corinthians 2 | Victorious in Motherhood | Kathrin Larsen
    Apr 28 2025

“We humans have no idea what His plans are and what is in His heart. So, we need only and daily the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives.” Today we continue in our 1 Corinthians series by walking through chapter two with our Europe and Israel Director, Kathrin Larsen. She reminds us of the power of God’s Word and the gift of the Holy Spirit as we depend on Him and not our own strength. As we keep in step with Him, we can know how deeply we are loved and that His power is made perfect in our weakness. We can have the mind of Christ!

    SCRIPTURES

Teach us to number our days,

that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12 NIV

For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:11 ESV

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. James 3:17 ESV

    But, as it is written,

“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,

nor the heart of man imagined,

what God has prepared for those who love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9

You have made them a little lower than the angels

and crowned them with glory and honor.

    You made them rulers over the works of your hands;

you put everything under their[g] feet:

    all flocks and herds,

and the animals of the wild,

    the birds in the sky,

and the fish in the sea,

all that swim the paths of the seas.

    Lord, our Lord,

how majestic is your name in all the earth! Psalm 8:5-9 NIV

  • 1 Corinthians 1 | Victorious in Motherhood | Sally Burke
    Apr 14 2025
“How do we live this truth out? Stay humble before the Lord. Boast in Him. Anything good that comes out of us is because of God.” God is the Victorious One who willingly works in and through us. We can trust Him for the victory! Today we welcome back our President, Sally Burke, to kick off our new podcast series, 1 Corinthians: Victorious in Motherhood. We dig in to chapter one and remember that as we keep our eyes fixed on Him and His Word, we CAN live a victorious life. God is for you!The Moms in Prayer Podcast is a part of the Christian Parenting Podcast Network. Compelled by joy and the hope God gave as she prayed with others for her children and their schools, Sally began to reach out and share with other moms—first as a Moms in Prayer group leader, then area coordinator for her hometown of Temecula, California, and later as regional coordinator for Riverside County. In 2008, Sally became the Director of Field Ministry at Moms in Prayer headquarters, overseeing ministry expansion worldwide. Today, in her role as President of Moms in Prayer International, her vision remains unchanged, that more children and schools and moms might experience God’s life-changing answers to prayer. Sally is also an international speaker, teacher and author of Raise Them Up, Start with Praise, Unshaken and the Unshaken Study Guide. As a child growing up in Florida, Sally was fascinated with the space program and began her career as a space shuttle engineer with a Master of Science in Management. After her marriage and the birth of two children, Sally and her husband came to faith in Christ, and Moms in Prayer soon became a top priority. She and husband, Ed, now have four grown children, two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law and five grandchildren. In her leisure time, you’ll find Sally on a walk/run, curled up with a good book or enjoying the company of friends.SCRIPTURESAnd I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
