    The lavender plants are now blooming. Their smell is a favorite of many people, and when I ask if someone can imagine the smell when they take a deep breath, I watch them become more relaxed. If you can imagine a smell that is positive and relaxing, you can slow your mind down and relax a little more.

    I am always on the lookout for more and different flowers that can be transplanted to the Ormond Gardens to round out the color during the season. I am always on the lookout for the abilities people have that they do not see to help them develop confidence and use them for others.

  • GLITTER IN THE WOODS

    GLITTER IN THE WOODS

    Every once in a while, my eyes will catch a bright flash of glitter as I walk the trails on the mountain. It is mica, a thin component of some of the rocks on the land. It is the basis of isinglass, used in the windows of wood and early gas stoves. We have a form of mental isinglass that can help shield and protect our minds from things that can disturb our thinking.
