Made for Meaning, Wired for Light is a podcast for HSPs and neurodivergent seekers. I’m Jane Elizabeth Aston — a spiritual connection coach and guide, creator, researcher and writer. I’m also a highly sensitive person (HSP), a late-identified autistic woman, and I'm in long-term recovery from addiction – and various physical and mental health issues. I help HSPs and neurodivergent people let go of what's not needed and get more of what is. Together we can overcome challenges and create aligned lives, full of meaning, integrity, connection and joy.Jane Elizabeth Aston Desarrollo Personal Éxito Personal

  • Stop Hiding: The Risk & Joy of Being Ourselves
    Jul 15 2025

What happens when we – as HSPs and neurodivergent seekers – stop hiding and start living as our authentic selves?

In this episode, I speak directly to the parts of us that learned to stay small and ask: What’s the cost of continuing to hide? And what might be possible if we stopped?

I talk about why we learned to mask in the first place, how hiding impacts our health and happiness, and what it means to begin the slow, brave process of becoming visible.

Whether you’re newly on this path or already walking it with intention, this conversation is here to remind us all:
We are not broken. And we don’t have to keep hiding. We deserve to be ourselves.

    Themes include:
    • The survival logic behind masking and hiding• What authenticity really asks of us• Letting go of perfectionism• The risks — and joy — of living visibly

  • We Are Enough: HSP & Neurodivergent Life on Our Terms
    Jul 5 2025

As HSPs and neurodivergent souls, we often move through life at a different rhythm — one that doesn’t always fit the mainstream pace. In this episode, I reflect on why you are enough, exactly as you are. From social overwhelm to slow recovery journeys, creative self-doubt, and the quiet courage it takes to keep going, this is a gentle reminder that the way we thrive may look different — and that difference is precious and sacred.

  • My Body Is My Teacher: Learning to Listen as an Autistic HSP in Recovery
    Jul 5 2025

What if your body was your wisest teacher — not something to battle, but to trust? In this episode, I share my lifelong (to now –and ongoing!) journey from disconnection and chronic pain to deeper listening, core strength, and spiritual alignment. I explore the breaking, the teaching, and the healing — through addiction, hypermobility, gut issues, and finally, hope. Especially resonant for HSPs, autistics, and those in 12-step recovery who’ve spent years ignoring or overriding the body’s signals.
