  • ME Time Episode 31 - Feel the Fear & do it anyway
    Jul 8 2025

This week’s guest is the wonderful Rachel Scandling who shares so many insights from an exciting career and life to date. As one of the first women in the Navy to go to sea Rachel has experiences and values which we can all learn from and use to reflect on our own values.

Your host Jane met Rachel on a mountain in Mallorca earlier in the year when they were both cycling. Instantly bonding over a bit of can do attitude and determination the two share experiences where they have felt the fear but done it anyway. Moving beyond the negative self-talk is a fine art, one that neither have always got right, but continuing to hear the voice, acknowledging it and doing it anyway brings so much reward and growth.

Enjoy this episode and let us know what you do when you feel the fear.

  • Me Time Episode 29 - Getting shit done
    May 8 2025

Your host Jane Hannah welcomes another Jane to this episode to hear all about their recent girls cycling trip to Mallorca. They talk about the mountains they conquered, the wine they drunk and the incredible on and off the bike bonding that the group had.

Some excellent takeaways from this chat around stepping back when there are others to help and why just getting shit done is important.

They talk about how and why comparison is the thief of joy and why it's important to do things that bring out the best in you.

But did Jane Hannah save her toe nails after Brighton?? No she didn't as they are both now long gone. Summer ready she will not be!
