    The Red Sox (37-36) never trailed in beating the Yankees, 2-0, Sunday afternoon in front of 36,475 at Fenway Park. With the win, the Red Sox finish off their 2nd series sweep of the season, both at Fenway. The Sox have won 5 in a row, 7 of 8 and 8 of 10. The Red Sox are a game above .500 for the 1st time since May 24 (27-26 after win over the Orioles in opener of a Double Header). -----Bello on the Bump: Brayan Bello made the start in the series finale at Fenway on Sunday and picked up his 1st victory since April 27 on the road against the Guardians. Bello allowed only 3 hits over 7 scoreless innings. He walked 3 and struck out 8, including Aaron Judge 3 times. Bello has now allowed 2 earned runs or less 6 times this season. The Sox improved to 6-5 in Bello's 11 starts and had been 0-3 in his previous 3 outings.-----Milestone for Raffy: Rafael Devers made it 2-0 Red Sox with a solo Home Run off Max Fried in the 5th Inning. It was Devers 15th Home Run of the season and his 500 career extra-base hit. Devers had hit into double plays in his previous 2 at-bats against Fried before going deep in the 5th. -----#'s of the Day: Sunday's shutout is the 5th of the season for the Red Sox pitching staff. Devers Home Run off Fried was the only Home Run of the series for theRed Sox, who are now 31-18 when going Yard this season. The Sox are now 24-9 when scoring 1st. With Sunday's win, the Red Sox are now 15-11 vs. the ALEast team and just finished a 7-2 stretch against AL East opponents. Aaron Judge went 0-for-4 with 3 strikeouts and a GDIP in Sunday's finale. Judge went 1-for12 in the series with a solo Home Run and 9 strikeouts.-----Adding to the Pen: The Red Sox pulled off a trade with the Twins on Wednesday, acquiring reliever Jorge Alcala in exchange for minor league infielder Andy Lugo. Lugo was playing for Advanced-A Greenville this season. Alcala, 29, has pitched in relief throughout his 7 seasons in the Big Leagues, all with the Twins. Brian Van Belle was designated for assignment after he was added to both the 40-man and active rosters on Tuesday. The Red Sox traded Van Belle to the Reds for cash considerations on Saturday and he was optioned to Triple-A. -----What's On Tap?: The Red Sox are on the road for the next 9 games and open up a 3-game series against the Mariners in Seattle on Monday night.
