    The Red Sox picked up a series victory over the Cleveland Guardians with a 13-3 victory in the series finale Sunday afternoon at Progressive Field. The Red Sox put up 5 runs in the 5th inning to break the game open. Rob Refsnyder, Rafael Devers & Ceddanne Rafaela all hit Home Runs in the Red Sox win. With the win in Sunday's series finale, the Red Sox have won a series vs. the Guardians for the 1st time since late April of 2023. -----Scoring 1st: Rob Refsnyder got the Red Sox on the board 1st with a Home Run to lead off the Top of the 2nd Inning off of Logan Allen. It's Refsnyder's 2nd Home Run of the season. The Red Sox are now (11-2 Updated #) when scoring the 1st run of the game. -----Hitter's Notes: Ceddanne Rafaela made it 12-3 with a 3-run Home Run in the 7th Inning. Rafaela had a Double, Home Run & 5 RBIs in the lopsided victory. Jarren Duran collected 4 hits in Sunday's finale. It's his 1st of the season and comes after collecting 3 hits in the nightcap of the Doubleheader on Saturday. Duran has hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games and has 4 multi-hit games over his last 6 games. Trevor Story went 0-for-4 with a walk and 2 strikeouts on Sunday and has 1 hit over his last 25 at-bats. -----Bello on the Bump: Bryan Bello made his 2nd start of the season on Sunday and pickd up the victory. The Red Sox have won 4 of their last 5 on the road and are 8-8 away from Fenway.     The Red Sox and Guardians split a doubleheader Saturday at Progressive Field in Cleveland. The Guardians came-from-behind and won the opener, 5-4. The Red Sox jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the nightcap and ended up winning, (7-3). Walker Buehler improved his record to 4-1 with the victory in Game 2. The Game 2 victory also ended the Red Sox 3-Game losing streak. -----Game 1 Recap: The Red Sox lost Game 1 of the doubleheader, 5-4 Saturday afternoon, Wilyer Abreu hit a 3-run Home Run in the 1st Inning, but Tanner Houck gave up 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st. Rafael Devers tied the game at 4-4 with a solo Home Run in the 3rd, it was his 3rd of the season. Cleveland got the go-ahead and what turned out to be the winning run in the bottom of the 6th Inning off reliver Brennan Bernardino. The Red Sox were 1-for-11 with Runners In Scoring Position and left 2 runners on in the Top of the 9th. -----Stealing Home: Jarren made it 5-0 in the 3rd Inning of the nightcap with an RBI Triple. Duran made it 6-0 on a straight steal of Home with Rafael Devers at the plate. It's the 1st time that a Red Sox player has had a straight steal of home since Jacoby Ellsbury did it (16 years to the day) against the Yankees on April 26, 2009. -----#'s of the NIGHT: Alex Cora managed his 1,000th game with the Red Sox in Game 1 of the Doubleheader. Cora is the 5th manager to manage 1,000 or more games in club history. The Red Sox were kept in the park in the night game and their streak of at least 1 Home Run in a season-high 12 straight games (19- Total) came to an end. With the win in Game 2, the Red Sox improved to 5-1 in Buehler's starts this season. The Red Sox also improved to 9-2 when scoring 5 or more runs in a game. -----What's On Tap?: The Red Sox conclude their 3-Game Series with the Guardians Sunday afternoon. Brayan Bello is expected to make his 2nd start of the season.
