Living Fearlessly in Service - Listening to God (Acts 9:10-12)

  • Resumen

  • This week we're studying Living Fearlessly in Service and studying the example of Ananias from Acts 9.

Living fearlessly in service to God always begins with listening. Before we can move our feet or speak a word, our hearts must first bow low to hear His voice. Listening is not a passive act; it is an act of surrender, of tuning our spirit to God’s leading. Ananias shows us that fearless living is not birthed from bold personality or natural courage, but from an open and willing heart that responds to the voice of the Lord. When we listen — truly listen — we prepare ourselves to live beyond fear, rooted in the certainty of God's presence and direction.

    Scripture Reading: "

And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight." (Acts 9:10–12, KJV)
